What I found helpful is not to say I will never smoke again but to say I will not smoke for a day and then not the next day. I think by saying I will never smoke again seems too huge and you start to panick.

The best way to quit any addiction is one day at a time, even one hour at a time. If I don't smoke today I never will cause it is always today. Stay in today. Cause tomorrow will be today....it's not 🚀 science.

This is me. I've set so many quit dates and didn't follow thru. I even stopped telling anyone I was trying to quit. Now I feel as if I'm forever preparing.

Thank you for the videos. I smoked my last cigarette on june 23rd 2023, and all thanks to Allen Carr's book but also your videos. I love to go for walks when i have a craving and listen to your KZitem. I think you're right, i did not make my quit day a special day or make any special announcements. I looked at it as more of the day i finally stopped poisoning myself. It was simply the day I ran out of cigarettes and the day i finished Allen's book. Thank you again, and bless you for what you do!

I love your videos. The technique that helped was keeping a pack with me smoked three cigarettes a day and went three days without smoking. Now I have hit a 1month mark

How do I quit when I have anxiety? First thing I do is reach for a cigarette when I have anxiety

you have better ways to feel ease about the challenges in life, feel confidence to getting over your fear. such as swimming, taking a shower, taking a walk in woods, or watching a movie, etc. simply put here, forget about cigarette and the intention that you want to quit. accept the fact that you want to smoke, watch the thought for five minute, let it go. because you can always find other way to make your life much easier and better. Believe this!

Me too. But in reality it makes anxiety worse by increasing heart rate and blood pressure. Just breathe. Some deep breaths. Some water.

Biggest mistake I ever made, was to quit smoking. I got fat. I gained 140 pounds. I struggled with diets and exercise but they don't work. I went from a slim 135 to a massive 275. My waist went from a 32 to a 50. If you want to hear more details, check the comments in some of your other videos. People used to say how skinny I was. Now today, I'm a big belly fat guy 2XX. I should have never quit smoking. It kept my weight off.

I stopped for 15 month's cold until 30th june. It is a terrible mental draining battle. I was obsessed with it having stopped drinking 111 days today. Did 6 days till yesterday then a work situation i smoked. I want to stop today. I dont want to buy another pack. One pack i bought yesterday was too many. I trust this s*it feeling in myself...my low energy, head heaviness and changing my mindset focus will mean i dont smoke again. Thank you for your videos i watched them years ago and revisiting. Much love. I can do this again. The past 6 days i was tearful and constantly telling my mind...it isnt me that wants it...it wants it and its made me v tired😢

convince yourself it makes you sick to smoke, like no matter how you feel right now it cannot enhance or give you a boost, because it's poison and clinically applied will make you feel like shit. The initial withdrawals are it's own problem, the long term quitting mindset is ALWAYS understanding that poison cannot help you get better.

Innocent mistakes are far more preferable to mistakes with ' intent '.

I don't think anyone makes a mistake intentionally. The meaning of "innocent mistake" is a mistake that may not seem as harmful as it really is, or a mistake that does not look like a mistake at first glance

I'm not sure that fail is the right word, it has such negative connotations. You only fail when you stop quitting.
