I now have mine and it's awesome! Even better and more features than I had expected. They will also be making available the 13 round magazines to make it a subcompact size when you remove the first grip spacer.

One of the most underrated, non spoken about, amazing guns of all time. I have the Archon Type B gen 1 and it's just such a phenomenal gun. The damn thing is so smoothed and shoots so flat. In my opinion, it does everything you need it to do out of the box. I've not had one problem with it. Between it, my P229 SAO Legion, and my Norsso P320 build I can't say which I lie best. I really would like to add a 2011 to my collection just to see how it compares. Amazing gun that I have no regrets purchasing and owning for the last 5 years. Also, the gen 1 is practically the same but it came with 4 15 round mags, and you could install the magazine backwards to make the magazine release button ambidextrous. Thanks for the video.

It has been very interesting and kind of exciting seeing what has been coming through lately, these pistols are definitely a whole different animal but the assembly and disassembly is pretty straight forward... also much of the pistol will be made in house soon, from what I understand.

Just what does "shoots very flat" mean? That should be a character of the bullet weight and velocity, RIGHT? A quarter of an inch more barrel would not affect velocity very much..............................elsullo

@@elsullo2 - It’s referencing barrel flip. The design of the firearm is supposed to lessen it. Speaking from experience cause I recently bought one and between it and my P229 it does feel like it “shoots flatter”.

The ARCHON is amazing. The fastest, flattest, reliable and accurate gun I own. hundreds of rounds through it and ZERO malfunctions. Yes, A tad bit more expensive than a lot of pistols but, with the way the ARCHON comes out of the box, I my estimation, no need to spend a bunch of money to make the ARCHON good as the Archon does it all right out of the box. You could get a GLOCK and spend 5 or 600.00 dollars and make it comparable to the Archon but, why? Sold my CZ P10C, and put my HK, Glocks, Smiths, and my SIg P320 AXG Pro in the safe.

I own the type B many years ago, maybe four years ago five years ago when it first came out and I loved it. I had a shell from a reload blowup in it and destroyed it, but it didn’t hurt me. The gun held up and protected me, but my insurancepaid for me to get another one. And I had it for a year or two I just wanted something else so I ended up selling it and I kind of always now wish I had not, but I would love to get the optic version.

All these odd ball guns coming out. Something out there called a Rost. Another company called FMK. Put them in the box with the Savage, Stoager and the Mossberg. These are like the pistol oddities from the 1970's and 1980's. As the decades go by and the pistols are long out of production. I just can't get behind these novelty pistols.
