Miss my 2005 GXP. K&N intake, 3" downpipe, Classic Chambered Muffler 2.5" added where the resonator was, muffler delete, SLP tips, stock shocks with SSC lowering springs 1.4" fr 1.7" rr, Super Chips tuner, shift kit with TCI 3200 stall converter. The sound was awesome and the way this thing sounded down shifting was ridiculous. I will have another one. 😁

I've seen many pictures of this car, and always wondered who owned it, very clean build my man. I bought my 04 GT V6 a few months back and tuned it for a little extra power, plan to turbocharge it rather than supercharge like everyone else does. Also have wheels and coilovers lined up for it

This just popped up in my YT feed! I just finished replacing the rear speakers in my 2005 Grand Prix GT2. Monsoon system. One of the stockers puked and I replaced them with Kicker 3-ways. Super simple to mod them to work with the Monsoon system. It was my Pop's car which he bought new in '05. Graystone 4-door with every possible option. Just stumbled upon it one day while we were at the stealership having something done (I forget what) to my Black with Graphite interior 1999 Grand Prix GTP (which incidentally I took third in class with at the 2007 O'Reilly's World of wheels here in Atlanta)! Showed with three Daytona Pace cars (real, not replicas). All friends of mine. One got First in Class, two tied for Second and I got third. Together we swept the class! Pop passed in 2015 at 93 and I "inherited it". We've always had mostly Pontiacs, from Mom's Turquoise '63 Catalina, Pop's 66 Burgundy Grand Prix, to Mom's Brasilia Gold metallic '72 Catalina. Then my Gunmetal gray '89 GP SE (rare 5-speed car, loaded), Mom and Pop had a couple of early '90s Grand Am SEs . Pop's '91 Gunmetal gray with a Quad-4 and Mom's (I forget the year) two-tone Rosewood Grand Am (Ordered car) with a V6. Those two were totaled by at-fault dumbasses... They replaced the Grand Ams with a '95 Grand Prix SE which they drove for many years (that one was Dark Teal metallic). I've always liked Pontiacs (although I built a '71 Camaro, #10 'Corvette white' with Dark Sapphire metallic hood and trunk lid stripes, from a $100.00 (barely) roller, (had a '67 327/4-speed in it) and still have my '76 V8/4-speed Monza which now has a built-by-me 350 in it).

Sweet looking ride! My 2008 is all original love it. I got a Diablosport tuner for it Deleted the afm, lowered the temps at which the fans turn on and installed the firm shift tune for the trans. The trans temps went down over 20 degrees with the cooling fans running on high on hot days. Coolant temp rarely goes above half way even on 100 degree days. Enjoy the car!

Nice GXP man. They’re really good cars. I bought mine when I graduated college in 2016. Been my daily ever since. May get a different daily here in the next year or two but I’m never selling the GXP.

I had a 2007 GP GXP for around 12 years and just gave it away to my brother. What I learned is that you want to have a trans cooler, which ypu already did and look to getting rid of the AFM. I bought an AFM disabler by Range Technology. Your best bet is a 4t80 with the trans. I got my 4t65 built and it still went out. Good luck with your ride, looks sweet.

Yeah I'm really glad I put Brandon on to the 4t80e option for the ls4 as I had only ever test fitted it in the junkyard.... where he went and took the ball and ran with It..... I've been putting the 4t80e behind high power 3800 V6s for a while.... it's about time you LS4 guys joined the big dogs

TransGo Shift kit helps A LOT on these cars. I had an 08 Impala SS, only thing I did was tune and exhaust put the shiftkit on and the transmission lasted until 108k miles (put it on at 33k miles) of HARD driving. I miss that car sometimes.

Nice clean car. I bought a 08 last winter as a project car. 213,000 miles. I replaced all of the suspension and brakes. I got the calipers powder coated. Needed some TLC. Looking at maybe pulling the engine and doing a mild build. Probably trans also.

Kinda lame tbh, should always focus on performance before looks. DOD delete immediately, trans cooler should be the first 2 mods followed by a better flowing intake manifold ie. The TBSS is a direct bolt on and some of gen iron block truck intakes paired with a bigger throttle body for better air flow and a nice engine and trans tune. After that then start some cosmetic stuff

For the amount of work that you would have to do to put the ls4 in the V6 model. I would just purchase a GXP instead of doing all that work.
