I heard an interview where they said that Fleetwood Mac was a big influence on them, specifically the harmonies. Karen (I think) said that no matter who sang lead in the verses of a Fleetwood Mac song, when the harmonies came in in the chorus, they always had that distinctive Fleetwood Mac sound to them. So LBT wanted to do the same thing.

Hey Rob Squad... I had a migraine headache yesterday... a lot of rain and a couple of T-storms went through here . I was asleep when you posted this but I am feeling much better this morning... happens to be my best friends 50th Birthday. We grew up in the Burbs but we both had relatives in the Boondocks and spent a great deal of our childhood summers there . I didn't realize that Amber was that deep in back... this was great to learn this about her. Amber ( hope I am spelling that right ) has the sweetest personality... she is what we call " a doll baby"... just someone very cute and sweet . I have traveled to the city a few times and it's great to visit... I still live in the Burbs but I am grateful for my childhood memories in the Boondocks... some of my favorite moments in my life were spent in the Boondocks. Why I haven't mentioned or requested Little Big Town before... I have no clue why... Little Big Town has been my favorite band since 2005 when I first heard their song The Boondocks . They have a lot of great songs... so many! There is another video of theirs " Better Man" I like a lot and the song is deep and meaningful but it doesn't have that Boondocks sound... usually when videos are made bands are requested by the labels to Not make the new song to sound like that last song to show their variety... to me No song is going to be as great as that Boondocks sound . Love to you and your little ones and looking forward to many more reactions here . Thank you both!

If you want another group with male/female mix try Gloriana - 'Wild at Heart', 'How Far Do You Wanna Go?', or '(Kissed You) Good Night'. Another group would be Lady Antebellum (Lady A). 'Need You Now' 'I Run To You', 'Just a Kiss', and 'Love Don't Live Here' are all good choices. Finally the group Love and Theft has a great song in 'Dancing In Circles'. A couple others are 'World Wide Open' or 'Me Without You'. All four groups have great harmonies.

I totally get it Angela, I grew up on farm, but it was in Iowa. My poor dad, got 3 daughters. We worked hard, feeding cows, pigs, bailing hay, hauling fire wood, etc. We played down at the creek, making up games while we jumped across huge hay bales, made tree houses, rode our bikes up and down the graved road, etc. This was the 70's. You're right, we all had to have a good imagination. And as much as I was jealous of my friends riding their bikes on pavement in the nearby small town, I wouldn't trade the way I grew for anything.

Little Big Town are soooo awesome!! They have so many hit songs!! "Tornado" is a great song and video. But they have do many now compared to two years ago. "On The Pontoon" is a HUGE hit and very fun! You'll love all of their many hit songs ...pick one you'll love it. "Girl Crush" is another GREAT hit song. The beautiful ladies and their harmony really make the videos. I love living in the south and growing up was so much fun and staying outside all day and when mama yelled for us at twilight to come in ... too much fun ....we had huge gardens and lits of fruit trees so if we got hungry in the summer time we'd grab an apple or a pear or grapes or a vegetable from thr garden. I am soooo thankful we didn't have electronics growing up. We got dirty and had a blast and there was six of us kids. I wouldn't trade my childhood in the south for nothing! 😊❤

A lot of what sounds like a banjo is a Dobro. This is a resonator guitar-type instrument that can be played like a guitar or flat in your lap using a slide. You'll hear it a lot in Bluegrass music, like with Allison Krause and Union Station. Another good example you might try is Travis Tritt , Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde. The Doobie Brothers also used it in their song Dangerous. Another good Little Big Town song is Pontoon. This was my grand daughter's favorite song when she was about 3, and listening to her singing it was absolutely hysterical. 😂

Love love love the reaction. I grew up in NC and lived on 5 acres of land...All the neighbors knew each other. I moved about 15 minutes from my parents and when I started dating my now husband he laughed at my directions.

Thank you Beth Rowe, they'd love pontoon! That was one of my dad's FAVORITE SONGS! I miss him, plz do that one! I live in S.C. and believe it or not, people think that it doesn't get more southern bc S.C. has South in it, but I can relate( Just not THAT much ), I grew up on the lake, and you may see a goose or a duck every now & again, in summertime, we lived in our bikinis and went swimming & fishing EVERYDAY! Amber, I'm SO GLAD YOU LOVED IT, YOU LOOKED SO HAPPY! YES! This is why I love to watch y'alls reactions! He said when y'all were 18, omg, y'all are truly meant to be! Now, I wanna hear " Bottoms up" by Brantley Gilbert, and I want y'all to react to it too...but don't want it to get demonotized...much ♡♡♡♡♡

For you who are not aware, honeysuckle got its name from the fact that you could pinch off the petal tube gently so that the pistil style (stem) is not broken. Then, as you carefully pull the pistil out of the honeysuckle flower tube, it pulls out some nectar that you suck off the pistil and out of the tube. The nectar is honey-sweet sugar water that bees literally make into honey. As a kid, I would spend hours out in the woods sucking honeysuckle nectar. There is a reason that butterflies and bees love honeysuckle.

Fun reaction! Fun song! Here are some country song suggestions for your Female Fridays: 1. "My Give a Damn's Busted" by Jo Dee Messina (2005). 2. "Cowboy, Take Me Away" by The Chicks (formerly known as The Dixie Chicks and featuring some banjo ... 1999). 3. "Breathe" by Faith Hill (ended up as the No. 1 pop single of 2000 among all genres!) 4. "Born to Fly" by Sara Evans (2000).

It's a shame there's no contest in this country for "most adorable couple" because you guys would win hands down! You are like the human Prozac on You Tube because I always feel happy and uplifted after watching your videos. Thanks guys!

shout out to the "free range sista" you are so right , growing up in the country running loose in the creeks and the woods is a gift. you develop a greater appreciation for life than those who dont get to run wild as kids get to develop. catching crawdads and salamanders, chasing rabbits. finding a mulberry tree, tricking someone into trying a persimmon without peeling the skin off first... see the song "i was almost home" listen to the lyrics. its amazing!

Hello!! New subscriber here, loved every video I've seen so far. If you guys are doing country, a song I love is Podunk by Keith Anderson. I have to admit that I'm biased because the town he is talking about in the song is the town I'm from. Miami, Oklahoma. That's in the very northeast corner of Oklahoma!! If you guys get to see it that'd be awesome!!
