Doctor here. I had a patient whose blood pressure suddenly went through the roof and I couldn't understand why. He admitted he had been taking this 3 step system his wife told him would help with energy and weight loss. It took an inordinate amount of time to find out what was in this stuff. Their website is very opaque and it was hard to find, but when I finally did find the ingredient information, there was, like, 5 different sources of caffeine, plus some amphetamine-adjacent chemical of questionable legality. As in, the only reason it wasn't banned was because regulators can't keep up with all the new variants that people keep inventing to get around the last thing that was banned. I was like, "well, there's your problem. But it's definitely going to make you feel energized."😮😬 He stopped it. Everything went back to normal.😌

As someone who takes an amphetamine adjacent medication for ADHD, that is TERRIFYING. I had to have two separate doctors go through the list of possible side effects before I was allowed on it because irresponsible usage could result in, like, heart failure. I rly think doing a video or deep dive into the Kirby vacuums business practices & structure would be interesting. It’s nationwide, if not damn near. A lot of ppl fall in to at one point or another in my area that are struggling. It may not fall under MLM but definitely scam/unethical business! It’s a wild company.
@cocoapuffpanda
10 ай бұрын
YES!! I’ve had a Kirby salesman stay for 6 HOURS at my house and would not leave no matter how many times I said I didn’t want to purchase a vacuum. Then at the very end where he was done showing me EVERYTHING and asked if I was ready to purchase and I said no, he got mad. Said I wasted his time and then since I had mentioned early on that I wasn’t going to make such a large purchase without talking it over with my husband first (he was deployed over seas at the time) he brought that up and asked if my husband was abusive or controlling. That I was “allowed” to make a purchase like this on my own without talking to him. I told him no again and he got PISSED, put the vacuum back in the box (all while still complaining to me for wasting his time and that I could help him out by buying the vacuum so he didn’t have to box it back up) then left ALLLLLL of the little paper inserts that he used in the vacuum show how much it was cleaning. He left all 98 of those things on my carpet AND all of the dirt and dog hair that was on them. It was a wild day for sure. What does that business do to their salesmen to make them THAT desperate? 😅 haha
@amandafight7627

Right, Kirby vacuums are a scam too pretty much because who sells a vaccuum that legitly cost 11K but doesnt give you 11k in the quality and power of the vacuum. The 130 dollar Bissell vacuums at walmart are the BEST ON THE MARKET TODAY. Idc what anyone says. They're better than the 200 dollar Hoover vacuums. I clean, organize and sparklize everything I touch for a living so I've used many vacuums in my day, even the other overly priced Dyson brand are crap for what you pay and compared to the Bissell vacuums. The Kirby vacuums will only sell to the uber rich bracket in society. Its ridiculous. I'm in the midwest southern Indiana and I met a young man (24 years old) that almost fell for the Kirby business pitch last summer and was going to move out to Oregon and start selling the overly priced Kirby vacuums but thankfully he listened to us that warned him not to do it.

I‘m absolutely against MLMs, but have to put that out: patches/stickers to put on your skin/body absolutely can work. Our skin is our biggest organ and it can and does absorb, what we put onto it. It‘s not that diffrent to a cream or a face mask. Nicotine patches to help to quit smoking for example are stickers to put on you body aswell and absolutely can help. I don’t know that company and probably their products are way overpriced, but it‘s not correct to state, there’s no evidence of stickers/patches working at all.
@DracoTriste

Agreed. The patch just has to contain chemicals that can pass the skin barrier and is delivered in a form usable by the body- like caffeine or nicotine. And looking online at the ingredients, these are basically caffeine patches.

No hate whatsoever, but this statement is inaccurate-paying more doesn't necessarily guarantee quality, but cheaper supplements are typically comprised of lower quality, less active or less potent forms of nutrients, and often contain fillers and undesirable synthetics. Cheaper products use inferior raw materials to make their supplements, and B12 is a super good example, as it comes in 3 different forms (I’d be willing to bet a dollar version is using the cheapest version, which is a synthetic and much less effective and harder for your body to absorb) The quality of the ingredients used in anything absolutely makes a difference, and it’s important to remember that not all raw materials are created equally-especially when it comes to your health ❤
