Dude - seed ticks are the worst. They actually look like finely ground pepper flakes, so you’ll initially think they are just grains of dirt. Then you realize they are moving. And there are hundreds, sometimes literally thousands, of them on your arm or leg. The only way to get them off is to hose yourself down or take your clothes off and submerge them while you take a shower. Edit: if you can find a hose or a shower. If you are primitive camping you’re kind of screwed until you find a water source outside of your drinking water.

We call those “seed ticks” in the mid south region. I got into them really bad about 30 years ago on a through some woods and cattle pasture to a favorite fishing area. I found a few on my arms and slew them. However when I got back home a had over 50 of the little buggers dug in all over me. My wife had to remove the ones that I couldn’t reach. Besides the risk of diseases, they itch worse and longer than mosquito or chigger bites in my experience. Sometimes I wonder if some of my health issues might have a tick bite component because I’ve had some decades long symptoms. Discussed it with a couple doctors during routine visits but they dismissed it with no tests. 🤷♂️

Hey, I don’t know who you are but I want to let you know that God is real. God is real and He made every one of us. When He made mankind He made him perfect, but the first people chose to rebel against God and that is called sin. Since the first man and women every single person has sinned which means that every single man, women, and child deserves to go to hell, and even though that doesn’t sound fair, it is fair. God is a holy and just God and cannot just forgive sin. God loves us though, and He wanted us to be saved from our sin. He chose to send His only begotten Son, Jesus, down to the earth to the live the perfect life that no one else has lived. Jesus was then wrongly condemned by Jews and crucified by the Romans. When He was on the cross Jesus bore all of His peoples sins upon Himself, so that God His Father punished Him for the sins that we have committed. Before Jesus died He said “It is finished” which means “paid in full”. Jesus paid for our sins so that we do not have to spend eternity in hell paying for them. On the third day after He was crucified Jesus arose from the dead and showed Himself to 500 people. He then told His disciples what to do and then He ascended to the right hand of the Father to eventually come back one day. God is willing to save you if you will repent of all your sins and wrong doings and fully trust in who Jesus Christ is. Sins are things that go against Gods nature and are things that He hates. Some common sins that have been accepted are pride, lying, lustful attraction, masturbation, sex before marriage, homosexuality, cursing, using the Lords name in vain, and hating other people. Confess your sins to the Lord and repent of all of them. Believe in what Jesus has done and ask God to save you. Please turn to Him before it is too late, because the end is coming very soon.

I drank alot of oolong tea with it. After about a month my injuries started to heal again, and fatigue left. Still a work in progress getting my body back, but, it was pretty obvious the only thing that changed was trying it. Do research, I hope this can help some one like it seemed me.

@@beev4289 its a bacteria. It eventually forms a plaque, like on your teeth. A biofilm that hardens, in your tissues?.. it will apparently lie dormant sometimes,, and present itself to an injury site.. They can test for the bacteria yes. I experienced extreme fatigue. I work my butt off so I thought I was just overdoing it(I was), but I ended up spraining every muscles from my glutes, through the hip flexor, through the thigh, and into calf. Basically the entire leg to the foot. The doctor I seen couldn't believe I was able to do that to the entire leg. I was just doing my job, but I lift heavy weight, so it didn't seem odd that I could do this to me. But it did come as a surprise, the thing is, I kept working, it kept getting worse, and when I eventually took time off, it didn't improve. Took years to realize it wasn't healing, and I might be stuck with it. After the dr berg video, and me trying the stevia, I improved so much after the first month, I went from incapacitated to almost normal rather quickly. I created alot of muscle imbalances favoring my leg, although alot of this is being over worked and not getting enough rest, it seems what I believe was lyme was preventing me from recovering. I read into it, I seemd to have all the symptoms, and the stevia seems to take them all away. I had one tick bite in my life, despite being in the woods all the time, and I did develop a bullseye rash. Take my experience with a grain of salt. But in my experience, the stevia cured me of what I was going through. Berg said it breaks up the plaque, and after time the antibiotics have trouble because that plaque has formed. I am very thankful. Was a hard time of my life. Lost years. After enough time, the lyme gets into your brain, so it's smart to try to get rid of it asap. Hope this helps. Not medical advice.

Also, they mainly spread Lyme disease by regurgitating into the bite site. So, if one does manage to bite you, removing it without popping it (if it’s engorged) and making sure to get the head out is very important!! I recommend getting a tick key. These tools twist the tick out, reducing risk of regurgitation or damaging the tick. Using tweezers can lead to popping or ripping the body straight off the head. Also, when engorged, they become more likely to regurgitate by simply being too full so it’s best to check yourself all over and practice good hygiene by showering/bathing after being outdoors in tick habitats. Finally, if you find a tick on you and are concerned about diseases, you can keep the little sucker in a jar or plastic ziplock bag and bring it to your doctor’s office/lab to be tested. This also can help the community keep track of tick bites and the presence of diseases which helps us know the current tick population and minimize spread of disease. :) Oh, and please give outdoor pets tick prevention! There’s also a Lyme vaccine for dogs (and maybe cats? I can’t remember) that may be a good idea for dogs who spend lots of time outside. :)

It doesnt make me warm(i hate being to warm),but it protect's the whole head and neck area. Some places a bunch of "deer flies" can land on you also. They flie around in groups. And when they land on a individ ,they throw away their wings ...meaning,they have to stay. They crawl around in the hair ,like flees. Hard to remove. Ugh. Hate them. To ease people's concerns about diseases: generally, the larvae do not have any diseases, because ticks are essentially transporters of things like lymes disease, and considering those are fresh out of the egg, they have not yet encountered any organisms to pick up diseases from. The ones that carry disease. Would typically be their second enstar (second molt, so when they are a bit bigger), and a tick generally has to be a) fully engorged in the skin and b) on you for several hours, in the case of lymes: usually around 24 hrs.

Deer tick are the size of a period mark. They are named after deer mice , not deer but can be found on many different species including birds and lizards. If you remove them before 32 hours you usually don’t get Lyme Disease. If they are attached for longer you have to wait a week or so to be tested because the test checks for titers or antibodies in your blood where your body has been trying to fight the infection. It takes a while to have enough antibodies to show up on the test. Lyme can be treated with antibiotics but the damage it caused might not get repaired. The changes can be for life. Arthritis, weakness, fever etc. Depending where in the body Lyme disease manifests it can be life threatening. I knew one young doctor who almost died when it went into his brain and my father died went it damaged his heart. Lyme is an ancient bacteria found in many parts of America and Europe.
