Hi everyone! I'm a professional makeup artist and bodypainter, and I just wanted to quickly talk about the Kryolan setting spray. It's a very good and heavy duty product, it contains alcohol so when it dries up, everything is locked down in place. I usually use it to set a bodypaint, but it can also be used on the face (I personally use it on myself). At first, the skin feels tight, almost as if you couldn't move it, but after a little bit that feeling goes away. I've used it with brides and it's totally worthy. Things to have into consideration: 1) Since it contains alcohol, it could dry up your skin if you use it constantly. I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use. 2) It's a flammable product, so it should always be used under precaution. 3) Be careful not to spray it on your eyes, nose or mouth. Whenever I use it on the face, I use something to cover up those areas just to be safe. Hope you find this information helpful💜
@richiethev4623
2 жыл бұрын
Could this be the same theory be why the drag queens told me to use hair spray to lock in my make up??? Thanks heavens I have good skin so I never had any ill reaction's. I wad born in 1989 so when I was in high school eye primer, make up primer and setting spray just wasn't a thing in existence UNLESS you had a license to buy theatrical make up stuff. Back in the day I had to use lotion on my face including my eyes as my "primer" and hair spray as my "setting spray" 🤗 Oh girl you best believe I always followed what my mom taught me which was skin care is top priority or else your skin will look like bad no matter what and to take off make up I used ponds cold cream and I always washed my face along with using witch hazel toner. Nowadays I use alcohol free witch hazel😅🌅 -Mercy(sorry for the name confusion I am on my dad's phone at the moment)

My skin hates cleansing balms but loves cleansing oils. But yeah, my sis uses those wipes and I’m like “if I really need a wipe, I’ll put water on my makeup eraser.” It doesn’t dry out and then you waste half the container.

My skin is oily, my pores are huge, I have texture from acne scars, and my skin is mad sensitive to the point that only one foundation has never made me itch. Every time I see someone drenched their face in unnecessary product I can feel my face starting to itch and see how red my skin will be when I remove it. So many nightmare tips not just for me but for most people

i've seen so many of you and your brothers videos at this point and i just want to say i'm GRATEFUL. i thought foundation looked bad on me, concealer wasn't meant for me bc it would crack, and a ton of other things. then i realized i was listening to techniques taught on Instagram, techniques that you talk about and explain why they end up looking weird. i'd see makeup artists literally PAINT on foundation and saw that it worked for them, and compared it to myself thinking makeup just wasn't for me because it never worked and looked bad in real life. thank you for showing us the things you do, because now i know what i'm actually doing!

Okay you have convinced me to give up the make-up remover wipes 😜. I normally use a wipe, then a q-tip with eye makeup remover, THEN I use a cleanser and THEN a exfoliator... Obviously rinsing between each step... It's a lot and some nights seems like a chore🤤. You've definitely convinced me to start with a cleansing balm😌! NOW I need to decide which one with my dry skin and other issues 🤔

What do you guys use as makeup remover? Or how do you do you do your skincare. I use castor oil/cleansing balm because it just helps my makeup slide off. Then I use that reusable makeup removing pad soaked with miscellar water. After that i use a foaming wash and an exfoliator. Then I finish off with a toner, serum, sunscreen/moisturizer, eye cream, lash serum and lipbalm

I'm SUPER interested in the setting spray. I wear oxygen and my canula hose rubs my makeup off no matter what I've tried. Sticky primers, setting powder, setting spray, allat. I'm also very dry so I want to use the creamy products but the hose just rubs a big line across my face and it makes me so sad lol I'm gonna have to try that stuff though fo sho. Thank you for all of your advice Robert! You have seriously changed my make up game in the last year alone. 💜🖤

Be super careful, other commenters say it's not for every day use and marketed for stage productions because it's super heavy duty. @mikaylanogueira on TikTok (about five rows down) talks about how it may be good for a special occasion but not good for your skin for every day wear. ❤️ Her and @glamzilla have good referrals for setting sprays that may help.

@@MoniB888 thank you! I don't wear make up every day at all since I don't leave the house often these days 🤣 I'll definitely keep that in mind though. I really appreciate it! I ended up already ordering some and it was only like $10 too so I'll see how it works for me. I've tried a few different setting sprays and my urban decay one is pretty good but I still get rub off from my oxygen cord. It might just be something I'll have to deal with forever 🙄 lol

You can break the blood vessels in your lip by doing that 9:35 and it can create lasting damage. He's right just use a plumper or if you have no qualm over having your lips filled if it that's important to you, at least a proper doctor can do it correctly and not damage you. That's just utterly stupid and I hate how their video is just another entertainment click video and some kid is gonna be stupid and do this.

The first hack is how my granny used to do her eyeshadow in the 70s and 80s (her Avon lady taught her). It never looked great, but I think that had more to do with my granny than the technique.

the first "hack" not only has been a technique used for a while, but East Asian Tiktok (specifically China) uses this method a LOT so it's just funny to see a lot of people shocked about it.

Robert would you dive into what beauty therapy is? I’m 90% sure that isnt a thing I. The states. That first hack - I am so over seeing on tiktok. It’s misleading technically the eyeshadow would turn out muddy bc of the back and forth blending she did. The idea would be to blend from front to back with no return 👀. Your disgust with 5 minute crafts is comical 🖤😂😂
