When it comes to the stealing music accusations, it boils down to pretty much two conclusions cuz there’s absolutely a pattern here if people are making compilations of all the accused songs; either he’s doing it on purpose and just straight up stealing riffs or he’s not doing it intentionally but his music is so derivative that he sounds like a watered down version of a millions songs and bands we’ve heard already.

I love tx2 but yk everyone has their own opinion i just feel like maybe you should know a little bit more abt him before making a video on him? I mean like most of the allegations you mentioned were false and rumors. Also his full name is Timothy Evan Thomas. And yes the “other guy featured” is Cam Rostami. He actually started on the drums such as doing A7X covers when he was in middle school and later pursued punk rock music as his dream. But once kids at his school started bullying him it got to him too much and he switched to rap in hopes that the bullying would stop. News flash, it didnt. So he said yk what if youre gonna be hated on might as well be hated on doing what you love. So no he didnt start on rap, thats just when he started actually posting his music. Its also not right to call people “posers” because they listen to him. For me him and his music have helped me get through a lot going on in my life. Plus, music is subjective so in reality there’s no such thing as “poser music” and its more of a term used to gatekeep. Also i mean all of this in not a rude way whatsoever and i respect your opinions id just like to share mine cause to be completely honest a lot of the stuff about him you seemed unsure of and its always best to dig a little bit deeper into the artist before pointing fingers and being like “ew no i dont like them!” The first time you see them and do vague research to make a vid on him ykwim? Anyway yeah just wanted to share my opinions as well

It is kind of interesting watching this while I am still very obsessed with a band that people either like or completely shit on. It is why I found your last comment a little funny because they are also considered metalcore/nu metal. I am talking about Chaoseum a relativly new band from Switzerland I saw them open for Tarja Turunen and Marko Hietala and I fell in love. Now I do not know what a small nu metal band is doing with some of the biggest names in symphonic metal but I am not complaining. My point is there will be people saying that Chaoseum is just copying Korn and there will be people that do not like TX2's music, all that matters is that you as a fan like their music. From what I have heard of his music it is not really my style but hey good for him that he is getting all of these fans.

I dont like TX2 not because of his music but because he tends to sexualize alt women 'as a joke' but even as a joke, it still perpetuates the the idea that alt women are really freaky and these objects of sexual desire. Also, he indirectly told a 19 year old creator, Lake, to kill themselves when he sampled a clip of theirs to use in one of his songs and also weaponized his sexuality to play victim when he recieved backlash from their video
@bonniemonaco2052
7 күн бұрын
He didn't sample the clip. It's not even a direct quote. Lake should not have said what they said. It takes away from people who are actually in that state of mind if we're going to take this whole thing in that direction. I'm kinda old and I think if you can't take it, don't dish it out. As far as sexualizing goth women, that was already addressed. Those videos were not doing that. They were making fun of the people who fetishize goth women. Lake wasn't serious, and neither was Evan. This is just banter. If Evan thought for one moment that Lake was at risk to do something like that, his response would have been quite different. He would have reached out to them and offered them resources to get help.

I used to kinda dig him then that Degrade song and Sex Sells song was around, then those other newer things came out. Personally those don't hit for me as I am 34 and supposedly I am a Venn diagram of Emo/Goth 90's and Metal from 00's. Like, I listen to Manson, Motionless in White, God Bombs, to back in time, Bauhaus, Ministry and others.. while appreciating Danny Elfman Score and even Synth Wave and dark shit in Witch Trap and other genes. But I was raised on Punk Rock like Pixies, Nirvana Into the 90's came Green Day. Later on as a teen, I still rocked that stuff when Matrix and Scorpion King came out.. and had soundtracks to them. I was alive through Columbine and 9/11 and then in my first year of college the Dark Knight Shooter.... I seen a lot of bands and music come around, while Tx2 doesn't scratch my need for edgy stuff, he doesn't hit the vibe check because I don't like his Form or expression of his self. Do "I"m a 5 4 Man Whore, that Slit his Wrists" seem healthy or even Satirical to anyone? I did initially get off put by his Poetric skill, it's laughably bad. I prefer my edgy punk or metal acts to not just be their character, but to leave it off stage and be human on video. With TikTok it's no longer show your behind the scenes, genuine sincerity stuff... it's act like a clown for views and you will be rewarded... even get on some tours. I am also a song writer and it Bugs the Ever living hell out of me like I have been trying to say shit almost like Kim Dracula, Nathan and now... Tx2 as well, and I did not get on a label and pushed by a major TikTok App. I'm more than jealous, but he hopped on so quick so fast, it's scary how the Music Industry passes up 30-40 year olds and go for the Young Hot, skinny emo boys in the end. Not fair "Music Industry' I was personally disgusted with Sex Sells and Degrade Me, he just doesn't appear to be the type, he's too relatively "Boyish or Cute' to be introducing teens and 20's into BDSM shows.

Watches the lyrics videos instead due to CAPD, therefore actually has mire insight into the message he's sending. Considering how toxic and problematic Manson is, I would consider TX2 to be absolutely wholesome in comparison. Just saying. If the music isn't your cup of tea, so be it. I grew up on 80's to early 90's glam rock, but I like all types of music.

tx2 or as i like to call him, timothy evan thomas, has been documented replying to a minor in his comments "daddy", he has stated openly supports the trans and queer community, but upon a trans non binary person named lake who uses they/them he misgendered them and also essentially told them to end their life. they were the person who made the tiktok you used talking abt how there are artists now that are the gimmick without the substance, they ended this tiktok by saying "if i have to hear tx2 say goth dommy mommy one more time im going to kll myself", to which timothy took that part of the tiktok, edited it into another one of his awful songs, and the song goes "if i have to hear tx2 say goth dommy mommy one more time im going to kll myself" and the it drops and timothy screams "do it". if you think that that isnt directly telling lake to yk then idk what to say to you. and he got backlash for that ppl were like you told a kid to kts what the hell. and he said "first of all she was an adult"... also he had a song that he said was supposed to be a tribute to a late friend, but when that video didnt get enough attention he scraped it and made another video saying the song is anti christmas. he also (this is mostly an opinion) glorifies s/h with his 5'4 man hor song and he also said something along the lines of youre only really emo if you hurt yourself and when i was in 7th i heard that song that goes "im an emo kid non conforming as can be" and if yk that song yk the part where he talks abt s/h and my 7th grade brain thought that hurting myself was a requirement to be considered emo in any regard. he perpetuates a very dangerous idea the same as the other song, that you cannot be emo unless you do one of the worst things you can do to yourself and i cant imagine all the little kids hearing that song and hearing him call himself emo and think "this is what i must do to be emo" he also jus blatantly steals music but whatever thats not AS big of a deal as some of the other stuff also i didnt see it myself its something ive seen others say, tx2 calls himself a plethora of things, but one of those things has been punk, and yet he was invited or smn to a festival but the venue or organiztion that planned the festival openly funded or supported isreal, and he got deserved backlash for that bc how are you gonna call yourself punk and play a show where the ppl in charge support the country famously commiting g3n0c1de rn... theres more but thats all i can think of off the top of my head but i hope nobody starts supporting him now and i hope maybe this reaches some of the people that do support him and hopefully you reconsider

ok, here we go. this first point makes absolutely no sense. it reads 'timothy evan thomas, has been documented replying to a minor in his comments "daddy"". are you trying to say he replied to a minor who called him daddy? he replied to a minor and called them daddy? and either way, how was he supposed to know they were a minor? evan has gone on record saying he is queer himself [i believe he specifically said he was either bi or pan]. lake may use they/them, but people don't just magically know other's pronouns. misgendering happens, and as a trans person myself who gets very affected when they're misgendered, you cannot get mad at a person for a genuine mistake. and if you're so intense about using people's preferred pronouns, then why are you so easily calling him by a name he doesn't prefer? oh, and yes, the vendetta line. thing is, lake is on the internet. lake said they were going to kill themselves is they had to hear a random person make a dumb joke. a person they can mute, or block, or ignore. evan, in response, essentially just repeated the same thing back to them. yes, being told to kys fucking sucks, but when you literally are the one to bring that up, you are opening yourself up to it, and you need to be prepared for that. i also do not know what point you're trying to make by saying that is first response was to clarify that lake was an adult. and, no, he is not glorifying s/h. saying the words 'i've s/h'ed' is NOT glorifying anything. the lines are; "i'm a 5'4 man wh0re who sl!t his wrists, yet 100,000 kids out there think i'm the shit." he's essentially saying he was at a very low point, and yet there are people who love him and his art. he's not saying 's/h is so cool! everyone should s/h!' no, he's saying he has done it. if you as a 7th grader, so around 12-13, thought that, then that's not the creators fault. that's a dumb kid being a dumb kid. and imo, no 'little kid' should be listening to his music anyway. his content talks about su!c!de, and s/h, and drugs, and sex, and he shouldn't be punished for it. those 'little kids' should be listening to fucking cocomelon, not tx2. he shouldn't have to appeal to people who should be on the youtube kid's app instead. and there's only so many notes and scales, of course some things are going to sound similar, especially if the person making the second piece content was inspired by the first piece of content.

@@Pretty-Boy-Spencer its really annoying to reply on youtube im gonna make a few comments in response. yes he called a minor daddy, and i dont care if he did or didnt know it was a minor he knows his fanbase is kids and he knows a majority of ppl seeing his shit content are kids, and even if the minor wasnt actually a minor and they know each other like i saw ppl saying, there was no disclaimer that it was a joke or they know each other or anything all it was was the minor commened and timmy called him daddy. why would you even say that to a stranger in the first place

I am 100% convinced that the reason he is so unlikable and annoying is this: there is no reason to be ashamed of being emo, bi, short (hehe), or self harming. The problem is when he uses these things as a segway to promote himself or stroke his ego. A great example of this is his vid on being bi.. he says “dont let anyone tell you THIS isnt what bi looks like!” While looking like someone who is SO OBVIOUSLY bi, and then he says “dont let anyone tell you bi people cant play mysic like this!” And then plays a song that comes from a genre where like 80% of the ppl are bi.. he comes up with fake scenarios to almost make people feel pity and then immediately uses those situations to advertise his music. “I was emo in fifth grade and I have tried to end my life 😢 heres me in fifth grade SHREDDING on the drums 😏” i mean bro even used the pride march stuff to promo his music, it always always goes back to it. Every situation is him doing this woe is me thing and transitioning to his music. it just comes off as not genuine and to fit every possible stereotype when people arent really complaining about who he is its the ego and lack of sensitivity around the subjects. Anytime he is criticized on it, he does the “i love when people say this about me when i went through this. Thats why i wrote this song to the haters”

I love how people are still sitting here crying about bands taking inspiration from bands that came before them when that is what music was. Blues artists would play blues standards and cover each others songs all the time. Listen to Cream's Sunshine of your Love, that solo, the start of it is directly ripped from the vocal melody of Blue Moon. A song that has been covered time and time again by artist after artist. Paying homage to bands that came before you is the norm in the industry and the only ones decrying it are people who don't understand music beyond a 3rd grade level of "but that's my toy you can't have it!" Tbh, they are a little cringe, but in the right way. I am all for this and hope they do well in the future.

As a Trans guy, TX2 has been a great advocate for the community (from my own perspective). Yes, the rage bait is real... but it's become a brand staple to embrace the hate and reflect it back. As for the songs themselves, there's tons of older songs from TX2 that hit home with me. Flowers - TX2 is probably one of my favorites. But it's just my opinion.

@Kitty-vw5yi What problems are you thinking of? From everything I've heard/seen of the past almost two years, I don't think are issues and more satire. If you're referring to the point of calling out "old white men" and toxic Christians, then sure I see an issue with it! But I also agree that those people need to leave the rest of society alone! I don't know how many times I've played the songs for my toxic Bible thumper family and then been told that I'm going to hell.. but atleast they're starting to leave me alone now. As for the one instance of telling someone to end it all.. I'm pretty sure that was fake. As there's been a ton of back and forth about AI being used and a bunch of other drama. So idk what you've heard, but I don't think that their songs (Not just Evan, but Cam and Corey too) are that bad. So unless you want to compare them to the allegations surrounding YT's golden boy rn.. I don't think much will stick or turn me away.
