Never fear, the pond master Chris is here! Love the vids but your wit and sense of humor is outstandingly refreshing. I hope you never lose that trait. Anyone could operate those machines but your ability to achieve such wonderful results for the customer put you in a class by yourself. Take that as a compliment.

Already looks a thousand times better, but that is going to be a beauty when it's done. I can see exactly what you are seeing and you are correct. If you cannot see it before you start, there is no way it will turn out. Anybody can "move dirt" but unless you can visually conceptualize the end product, you better be following the boss man to the letter. Someone has to have the vision of the end product. Well done boss man.

I use a 24T Excavator and D6 dozer on a farm here in Australia, I've dug out and reshaped some of the ponds and graded the gullies and tracks. It's noted that I'm doing a good job, not surprising as I learnt all my techniques from watching your videos😀 Thanks Chris

This was as satisfying a video as any I’ve watched during the past few years-the grader working is the most relaxing, but not quite as satisfying as shaping a pond. Definitely a good day at the office Chris! 👏🏻✌🏻

Gotta say Chris I like how you make sure you’re happy with it more then the customer. anyone that does grading will understand what I’m saying.. you really show you’re Character in the work you do. Bigggg thumbs up. Hopefully this mess coming this weekend doesn’t do much of anything I’m central area. Looks like the makings of another great job.....just listening to your comments. you hit the nail on the head....I am a retired spray painter down under and was a tradesman for over fifty years.....Have painted everything from powerplants to gas plants down to heavy trucks and equipment as well on down to rolls royces, Bentleys and so on.....After a lot of experience I (like you) discovered the ability to picture in my head what the results were going to be expecially on certain show jobs or jobs done as in collector vehicles, doing up classic cars and so on.....After a while the mechanics of your trade become pretty constant as your experience with it grows but the head part of it takes some years........Thoroughly enjoy your videos and always enjoy your comments on how it will start to look at the end.......Great videos which I enjoy......

Yeah, When you can picture what your going to do, It makes it a lot easier to see it as your going along.... Chris, I believe that you need to go ahead and get another one of those grading buckets, just to have as a reserve !! Lololol.. Man, That Grading Bucket in my opinion , has been a game changer for you, Like you said, when you first got it, it's one thing to have a grading bucket on the mini but, to have it on your Big Machine has just pushed your work to a whole other level , I believe !! It really has made you the pond/ lake master !! lololol... It works so well with what you do... You got a Big Dent in it today, It's really going to change that whole place, Gonna be Nice !! Really nice to wake up on Monday morning and find a new post by Letsdig18 Chris. Definitely one of my favorite pond rehab vids. She's gonna be a beut when he's done. Coffee is makin' and I'll be watching asim eating my breakfast sippin' coffee. I really like it cause it's a 40 minutes long one. Always a good way to spend retirement time on lockdown.

Not that I'm qualified to give you advice but around here we pick up one side of the machine and run the track to help clean them out. It freezes pretty hard up here and that helps alot.

I don’t remember which great sculptor said I the sculpture was always there i just removed what didn’t belong. You don’t make ponds, they were always there, you just have the insight to dig out what’s not pond and fill in what’s not pond. Thanks for sharing your videos, I know they are great, just wondering if I could ever afford the land and to pay you to be creative. Wishing you and your family the best.
