I did almost the same. I’m creating prompts and using them in my daily basics. So far: I build one to help me with my workout. I build one prompt with my Macros goals and I give all my meals and it is calculated to help me with the diet. I build one prompt that creates my diet for the day, with the macros, and create the grocery list with the order of location in the store. I use a lot of Chagpt. Thanks for the video. First time here btw. Cheer

It definitely can be a great tool, as long as you're specific in the questions/prompts and more importantly - challenge it on facts to make sure that it's giving factual information

Yeah, I've felt somewhat resistant to the idea of using AI as a reference point but now I see it the same way that I used to look at books or articles in magazines - a source of information

Sometimes I train on pure instinct. Something AI doesn't have.

This is true. Learning to tune into your body is a big part of training IMO

can you make another video like this for nutrition? Thanks!

Yes, that will be interesting to see what it comes up with, and to see if it has a particular bias.

I use to be able to legit do 10,000+ sit-ups while kicking my legs in the air like military and had an 8 pack for my core and did close to about 4-6 thousand push ups. But I would do calisthenics sets of 25-35 reps of yes keeping your muscles tight and flexing them through the reps. All the way full extention. I was 17-18 years old when I was slim cause of my metabolism was burning everything I ate but since I was working out the way I did I wasn't slim and lean I was medium bulky I'd say cause I was like 175 187. But now my matabolism changed and I'm 25 and I'm what they call "dirty bulky" and I'm willing to eat, workout/stretch muscles, and sleep till I die but I want to look like the hulk legit cause when I was younger I was trying to win Arnold's and mr. Olympia if I get bigger.....I have the heart for it cause I don't quit. I just have my ("offseasons") because when I was 170-180lbs I would blackout from having so much muscle content in my body so I had to dirty bulk and eat fatty Hamburger meat bacon and pork scraps and natural fatty foods like olives and such...now like I said my metabolism is changed and I was 270lbs...I found your videos and started working out to your band videos with my bands and now I'm 190lbs..but I still have a "beer belly" but you can start to see my abs underneath my core now...now I look like a mini strongman because I'm only 5'9" like I said. I need some guidance because I want to be 190 solid muscle fiber look and need help because my metabolism is different can you give me some advice????

Almost seems if youre advanced or more advanced it takes more effort to plug in all of the info to chat gpt and audit it than it would just to write your own, curious what James thoughts are on that
@JamesGrage
2 ай бұрын
You're not wrong. I think Chat will spit out a good beginner workout out of the gate but at this stage you'll still probably have to prompt it to fill in some details - like rest periods, progression, etc. If you don't ask, then the first round will be fairly generic

I'm currently working on this too but if you state injuries AI will reject your request for legal/medical conditions. I hope big business doesnt stop AI.
@JamesGrage

Hey my friend. Yes, you're correct. I'm of the opinion that AI should not be giving specific legal or medical advice but you definitely can use it as a tool to gather good information about both.

You still using bands or are you done with them?
@JamesGrage
2 ай бұрын
I incorporate them in with my weight training just about every session. There's some exercises that I still prefer bands over weights. Just a better contraction/burn/pump, plus it helps me train around some of the shoulder issues that pop up when I start picking up heavy weights

Did you quit bands?
@JamesGrage

No, I still incorporate them into all my workouts. I use them in combo with with weights for some exercises and then some with just bands. I also use them in my warm-up and then alot of times use them as a final burnout set to get a really good pump.
