@@pawansapkota6778 Susan Reid is an expert in cervicogenic dizziness in the greater Sydney area. She is a senior lecturer at Australian Catholic University. She is easy to find on the web and could be a great resource to connect to other experts.

Can the dizziness become psychosomatic? I’ve been to so many doctors . It’s been 8 months that’s I’ve been dealing with this. I was diagnosed with cervocogenic dizziness in September and the doctor said just get massages . Well we know that doesn’t work. I just started with a head and neck pt and he has me doing snatches etc, just started with him 3 weeks ago. Any suggestions would be great

Strength and stabilization training has the best long term outcomes. I would find a PT that is familiar with the exercises from Dr. Gwen Jull from Australia. She is one of the best in the world and her exercises have been research proven. Hope that helps!

Do you have any tips on reverse cervical curves? I go to a holistic chiropractor that resets my spine, but I have to go every week to feel relief and I just can't afford to do that anymore... regardless of how much pain I'm in. Anything helps!

The curves of the spine our a product of how well the deep spine muscles are working. Unfortunately, passive treatments like manipulation and massage do not improve this strength. Check out this video, you may find it helpful. Good luck kzitem.info/news/bejne/pWiXsWGMi6dpfH4

thanks so much for your video. I'm deaaling with progressive dizzy feeling (persistant swaying sensation) . I also have neck issues and headache. I know i have pathology (severe stenosis /disc issue). Question - when you do dthe self-snag.. are you only to do it on the side that is limitted rom? Or should you do both sides regardless? Thanks much, I will look for other exercises on your channel.

The original technique is to snag in the direction of limitation or dizziness. Most cases are usually worse on one side. Hope this helps.

what do you mean by milimeter tall? Are you bending down?
@physiotipswithmarrow5836
3 жыл бұрын
Great question. The mm tall is an effort to elongate the spine to your normal height. Most of us sit and stand slightly slouched...less than our normal height. So if you are 5 ft 6 in, make a subtle attempt to attain that height again. Hope that helps!

Could you share how to progress these exercises. In particular, strengthening the suboccipital muscles. Thank you.
@marrowburnette2289

The trunk leaning exercise is a fantastic way to activate the sub occipital muscles. This muscle group is also active during neck rotation and neck extension. There are many variations of these exercises and a great reason for me to make a follow up video. Thanks for your question.
