Toe Squat is a pose from Yin Yoga that strongly targets the joints of the toes, ankles, and the skin and tissue of the soles of the feet.
Depending on your anatomy; the variation of your ankle, the natural extension capacity of your toes, or the thick/tight nature of your plantar fascia, you might need an option for Toe Squat, that is milder.
In this video I will guide you through my step-by-step Toe Squat progression, to help you find the version that suits your anatomy best.
1. Start on all fours and tuck your toes under
2. Walk your hands closer to your knees
3. Bring your hands up onto your thighs
4. Sit all the way back onto your heels
Don't forget to have a nice long rebound after your pose.
