you sir have a good head on your shoulders. Very smart buying on promo, and buying tools FIRST then the box...

Yep keep that mentality. I collected many tools over the years, not all snap on or Mac. I been using gearwrench and grey pneumatic impact sockets for 11yrs, way cheaper and work good.

I have used Performance Tool for years. No complaints. I still use my Craftsman mechanics set from the 90's I have upgraded some of my tools over the years to Snap-On, MAC, ICON, etc. Still use the Crafsman stuff tho. Looks like you have everything you need for now. Thank you for the content.

I had the HF and OTC press kits first and they will usually get the job done. After using those then buying the Snap on kit, it's worth the investment. Expensive but I don't regret it.

Good stuff, only recommendation i have is to utilize your space a little bit more. Get a socket tray, and throw all of those plastic bins away, everything that you use on a constant basis should be within the first 3 drawers, everything diagnostics and special tools should go in the bottom 3. You can buy the slots and dots attachment from snap on and attach it to the cart, if will open up a lot more space
@pablosgarage707

Yes I agree. The plastic trays just take up all the room. I’m thinking about putting the sockets up top with my ratchets.

I think what I’ll do is I should put them at the very top it does suck grabbing so low frequently 😂 I definitely would recommend the Mac wrenches just wait for a promo when you can get a killer deal!

Yes most likely. I will get some organizers and then see from there how much space I have left 👍. My next box will definitely be a big one. I personally don’t see a reason to buy a smaller box and keep upgrading as I go I’d rather just buy 1 and be done.

I know it's been 9 months but it's not too late to leave the worst industry you could possibly be a mechanic in, automotive. The only field where you're expected to spend a house's worth of money on tools to make $40K/year, 30%+ of your paychecks go towards tools you'll be buying endlessly. Do yourself a favor and get out while you're young, within 10 years your body will be destroyed. You can apply critical thinking skills & mechanical aptitude to basically any career. Literally every trade pays more than this one. Trust me.
