A place for everything…and everything in it’s place! So cleverly designed and exquisitely executed - a shrine to hand woodworking in a chest. Thanks for sharing it

Beautiful tool chest, and so well organized. Always want one after seeing one of these videos, but think I wouldn't like it in actual use. I have a huge cabinet directly behind me as and find it too convenient, plus never travel any way.

Thanks for the kind words. I had the tools up on the wall for years. Have travel in mind and also I like the idea of pushing the chest out in case of a fire. Thanks again.

I have a roughly 150 year old tool chest, similar to this, however my tills aren't nearly as cool. This is a great chest! Thanks for sharing

I am collecting materials to make this design. My over ridding design concept is using a 10 foot board. In making the rough drawing I realized that if the main box is made from a 10 foot board that the skirts will require a couple inches more. Maybe this is how your box ended up being short of 24 in width and depth ? I was considering reducing the box so I can adhere to the 10 foot rule. After watching your vid, I'm going with the 10 foot board for the box and then cut the skirts to fit the box.
