I had a Spectre lower MCR, it ran pretty decent but I still ended up selling it, didn't wanna take the chance.

info on the gen 2... the gas block has a snap ring so it can't walk towards the muzzle, and the set screws travel into the barrel so the gas block can't twist until they are very loose. The piston is still tragic... the one I looked at was .177" diameter at a very critical point (near the middle)... asking for trouble when there are simple solutions. However, options are limited in Canada for a stanag mag of any kind. My assessment was it's a tinkerers rifle and that's ok, but it approaches the price of an RDB and more than a T97. I guess there are opportunities to make some aftermarket parts. Go Canada! Maybe this is how we recover domestic manufacturing!

Yeah that's true, there are definitely better options but I still think the gen 2's are much better than the gen ones I would say they would be on par with most on the market. I wouldn't call it a mind blowing rifle or anything

The AR-18's look like a much better option than the 180's are those not available in CA?

They are, but they are very rare so when you see them they are about 4000$ I'm referring to the original ones,

Make sure to rotate your firing pin retaining pin for longevity.

Tried my best to keep mine running but it kept breaking its recoil rod among other things. I’ve decided to sell and replace with a tavor. Hopeful that the Crusader Templar will be better, from what I understand all of the weak points of the 180 system on it are literally bulked up for strength… down side is it adds a pound to an already heavy and unbalanced gun.

Yeah it's a hard thing to believe considering the price points

To add: My gas block screw will not and can not be removed, even by a gunsmith, waiting for it to choke out with carbon.

At least wolverine got back to you and rectified the firing pin. Kodiak on the other hand will leave you hanging and take your money and run

Yeah I heard denied warranty across the board. I hear that about early Lockhart tactical. And early bcl the new one seem better but yeah under 500 rounds they shouldn't need warranty work anyway
