My yfm700 grizzly gets power to the pump when during cycling when key is first turned on; but not when winding over starter motor. Any ideas?

I've got fuel gushing out of the fuel cap right after I pump fuel. I don't pump to the brim. I tried changing to new gas caps but still gushes out..any idea?

Interesting timing, I just replaced the fuel injection pump-motor on my WR250R Yesterday. The bike is basicly Brand New - sat for 1 winter, and the OEM pump crapped out.. Anyways.. Now w/ the new setup in, and 4.7 gal tank Topped Off, the 'low-fuel-LED-light" has come on and won't stop blinking. [No one seems to be able to provide a straight answer for fixing it either] If anyone has any advise/ideas - They'd be very much appreciated!

@@ibrahimoualmakran5780 Crazy Timing! A few hours ago, I'd charged up my WR and ***Tried firing it up... Nothing!! Full power, so, now it's either the relay/solenoid Or Another Dead Fuel Pump. [Pretty pissed off] We're going to be looking at it later on [Saturday afternoon] so as soon as I know more, I'll try to get back here to update! Funny enough - I don't think I saw the 'low fuel LED'... haha Sam -

@@DirtyDovi haha so you still on it? I will check the fuelpump relay next ( no power to the fuelpump connection when cycling the key). Thanks for the feedback !

@@ibrahimoualmakran5780 Yuuup, and about ready to hit the thing w/ a flame-thrower! lol Just did a 2-day slow charge, cycled the key, and NOTHING.. No relay/No pump.. My buddy had to bail, but hoping he'll have his diagnostic equipment over here soon. *We're all in this one together! =D Sam -

@@DirtyDovi haha lol well we feel the same here very frustrating with my xtz 1200 was stored for 4 years: First: good wash, jumped with truck battery hit it with some brake cleaner fires right up for 2 seconds. Diagnosed the fuelpump wasn't running. Second: replaced the fuel pump, was stuck so replaced it with a bosch unit. Cleaned the fuel tank + fresh fuel New oil + oil filter But still no fuel prime... No power to fuelpump... Fuel level gauge blinking 8 times... Flaps don't open... No vacuum effect at intake... Swirl flaps not opening... Bike cranks fine And was running perfectly before storage Seems like I'm making it worse... I'm in no way an expert... just a young man trying to learn some bike stuff on my own (first motorcycle). Any tip is very appreciated .

My fuel pump only primes when the engine is cool. Once it’s warmed up and you turn the key on there is no fuel pump prime and no start until it’s cooled back down.

@@mikedacy6219 Mine ended up being a bad fuel pump. I swapped it out and have had zero problems since. Please let us know what you come up with.
