Can totally attest to this. Lactose intolerant and had my first kefir two weeks ago. Had zero problems. I was also eating a lot more fibre but total absence of bloating or any other digestive issues.

Yes I've been making my own kefir for about 3years. I had I.b.s. and acid reflux now it's under control. Usually blend it with banana or coconut milk. Very tasty.

natto-- eaten in Japan, It is femented cooked soy beans. It is delicious but ha very strong smell. I love it. It is high in protein and vitamins and a good probiotic.

I have been making my own yoghurt for a while, and adding probiotics. Now I am making fermented cabbage and also fermented red onions. I will be trying more things. I just wanted to say that the effect, after only a couple of weeks, on my gut health is phenomenal. I may be imagining it, but I don't seem to be as hungry either. Thank you for telling us what vitamins are in these items. We need K2 and D3 together, and I didn't know where it came from - apart from in a bottle.

I grew up eating Kim Chee all my life. My choice is the cabbage one. Love the texture better. Now I make my own.
