Hi Sherri, the lamp is my favourite too, it now looks gorgeous with the blue and white napkins, instead of those unfortunate polka dots lol. I also love everything else that you did too. The wooden bowl with the flowers in the middle is beautiful. I also love the frame with the stick flowers and little blue bird on the bottom. I could go on about every project, but I won’t I think you get that I love each of them. It’s made me think that I will look at some items differently now, that’s for sure. I do know that lately when I’ve been out walking round I see sticks that have fallen off trees and a few of them I’ve been going to pick up but I couldn’t bend over to get them and they were a bit big to put in or on my wheely walker, the footpaths are really bumpy and they would have kept falling off. God Bless you and your family and please enjoy your week.

Your lovely cherry blossom picture reminded me of "the old days" when money was very tight and I craved seasonal decor! I would cut a nicely shaped alder branch--the field was being taken over by them--and "planted" it in a large, dirt filled pot. I kept the dirt wet. Originally, I made pink tissue blossoms, but later graduated to bargain dogwood silk blossoms. In about 2 weeks, the branch would begin to leaf out, adding REAL realism to a "faux" tree. I used these for an Easter egg tree, and they were lovely. About the time Easter decor should be taken down, the branch's leaves would die, and I'd peel my blossoms off for the next year! That wall hook with the IOD transfer is striking! I honestly didn't believe that the cloth covered metal box would work; you worked a miracle with that one. I want to try the textured paint trick on some items that I have that are "wounded" that deserve rescueing!

You would have been over the moon if you had seen what our neighbors pulled out of their great grandmother's shed. I took home three amazing, but very rusty, French plant carts and stands. Then I noticed an arched metal arch with three rings for placing plants (not sure of the name) and with watching all your videos I knew I would find a purpose for it and now wish I had taken more of their stash that was put out for garbage. I’ve been finding and hoarding all these metal boxes that I’ve been finding throughout my home, the outdoor washroom, tool shed, garage, etc. (It’s a strange story about my home but no one really lived in it for about 40 years so I get to truly discover antiques and vintage stuff left by early 20th cent. family, if I really look.) I just don’t know what to do with these 4 different metal boxes, hoarded in my room because I don’t want any more possible damage. So I stare at them in their various stages of condition and size and wonder: What am I going to use these for? They’re much too nice to be unseen and forgotten about, or not used and left to rust. Nuh-uh! It’s both a blessing and a curse because now I have a serious hoarded collection of antiques that I want all displayed or used, but I’m aware I might be well over my head in it. If only I had this old house to myself 😅

Hi there! I just started to binge watch all your videos! I am not really into cottage core or primitive but more into french country or grandma chic. You remind me of myself in so many ways. I have tons of thngs in my garage, house, etc. I thrift and pick up from curbs in addition to some dumpster diving at at times. I had to stop the dumpster diving because I kept finding so much great stuff and I am out of space. ( I am shocked at what people just give away). Unfortunately, I am not able to dedicate too much time to my crafting, redo's, painting, reupholostery, etc. since I am still working full time in addition to selling on EBAY. But I love your inspirations! I just finished upcycling some type of screen part/cover into a picture frame. You have given me some ideas. I need a cricut and a miter saw. Any recommendations? Well thanks so much for your continued inspirations-my crafty sister!
