TORRE DE MONCORVO é uma vila portuguesa, sede de município, pertencente ao distrito de Bragança, região Norte e sub-região do Douro. Numa visita a esta vila não passa despercebida a sua Igreja Matriz, consagrada a Nossa Senhora da Assunção, cuja construção se iniciou na primeira metade do século XVI prolongando-se até aos primeiros anos do século seguinte. Domina a sua fachada uma torre sineira, com relógio, rematada por balaustrada, e com cerca de 30 metros de altura. Esta igreja foi classificada como Monumento Nacional em 1910 e é considerada como o maior templo religioso da província de Trás-os-Montes.
TORRE DE MONCORVO is a Portuguese village seat of a municipality belonging to the district of Bragança, northern region and Douro sub-region. On a visit to this village does not go unnoticed its parish church, dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption, whose construction began in the first half of the sixteenth century and lasted until the early years of the next century. Dominates its facade a bell tower with clock, topped by a balustrade, and around 30 meters high. This church was declared a National Monument in 1910 and is considered the largest religious temple of Trás-os-Montes province.
