My surgery is in 2 days. I am super nervous. I am getting rid of everything including ovaries. I have fibroids as well. Due to them, I have a hernia under my belly button. So 3 to 4 weeks after my hysterectomy, I have to go in for hernia repair. I hope I have a good experience with both surgeries. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

Thank you so much, Keli, for sharing your journey. Today 10/08/24 makes exactly 8 weeks for me, and I'll be going back to work tomorrow. I appreciate you so much because I watched your journey and took notes, lol, on things that you did to prepare, self care, and get through this. It definitely helped me. You are awesome. Now, I'm ready to start this weight loss journey with you. Blessings 💖

I had my hysterectomy surgery and I will be 8 weeks in 2 days. I kept my ovaries but my hormones are all over the place too…it may be from my perimenopause which was the case before my surgery so definitely know what you mean on that one. 😅Thank you so much again for these videos on your journey with hysterectomy. Much appreciated.

I’m 5 weeks post op, and I feel SO amazing! I hope that continues. 🤞🏼 I also had my hysterectomy due to fibroids, but it turned out that I also had two tumors on my left ovary as well. Crazy! I knew there there was more going on, but yeah, now I only have one ovary. My doctor did put me on hormones prior to surgery for my perimenopause symptoms, so I’m sure that is helping me feel as good as I do. I hope you can get your hormones figured out soon, it really does make ALL the difference.

In 2019, I had a partial hysterectomy because of fibroids. They kept my ovaries, so I didn’t go into menopause, but my hormones have still been all over the place since then. It’s a battle girl 😢

I just had my surgery on the October 3 due to cancer so I had to have everything removed so I’m still in the healing process but I feel great I’m especially excited for the no cycles . But with me having both ovaries gone it sent me straight in to menopause the new hot flashes is a bit much but I’m work on that part
