Axl Rose is in Guinness Book of World Records as the singer, both male and female with the largest vocal range. #2 is Mariah Carey. This song is the one that put them in the map. “Welcome to the Jungle” and “It’s So Easy” were both released first and flopped. Then this song was a major hit. They then re-released “WTTJ” and it gained traction then.

Frankie K bro WTF are you talking about. Welcome to the Jungle DID NOT FLOP. I’ve listened to interviews of the guy who ran MTV. That song dropped at 4am and by the time the president of MTV got to his offense he had over 250,000 calls about this band. They IMMEDIATELY got a tour deal with Motley Crue, who at the time was a huge band. Half way through the tour GNR was headlining the tour. Bc if Welcome to the Jungle. Sweet Child O’Mine brought them out to the mainstream. WTTJ is what started GNR’s rise.

Great reaction. Guns N Roses were one of the most genre defining hard rock bands of the 1980s and their debut album Appetite for Destruction is considered to be one of the greatest rock albums in history. They are objectively one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Funny you should link Axl Rose (the singer) to Bon Scott, because Axl Rose recently filled in to sing for AC/DC. I’d recommend reacting to, in this order: “Welcome to the Jungle“ “Paradise City“ “Night Train” (Anything from Appetite for Destruction) “Don’t Cry” “You could be mine” “Civil War”

Hi there Dean Bros, I found out recently from another reaction that the singer Axel Rose has an outstanding vocal range so I wiki-ed him & was amazed to read how expansive his 'range' is. Back in the 80's I never thought twice about his vocal technical skills I just knew I liked what I heard plus it was the whole band I enjoyed listening to not just Axel's voice. Anyways here's the guts on Axel Rose, Gun's & Roses Vocalist has sung notes that span nearly six octaves, from F1 in "There Was a Time", in the second-lowest octave in scientific pitch notation, to B flat 6 in "Ain't it Fun", five octaves above it. Rose has a lower baritone than Barry White, and can reach higher notes than Tina Turner and Beyoncé. Awesome reaction, it's great to see young faces appreciating music of all genre's, enjoy your musical journey guys.

I saw someone said that you have an excellent taste in music, which I completely agree with👍 Hey, here's a fun fact>>> that whole last part of this song where he goes , "where do we go now" apparently the band just improvised that in the studio because they really didn't know how to write the last verse of the song so they were literally asking themselves "where do we go now? " it was completely like off the top of their head, and the whole band just went with it and kept playing

Axl was the lead singer for ACDC at the conclusion to their last tour in 2016, he stepped in for Brian Johnson when Brian Johnson was unable to perform due to hearing loss. Bon Scott was a huge influence on Axl Rose as well, and ACDC is one of his favorite groups. Check out any of the 1000s of videos online posted from the end of the last ACDC tour with Axl, he was awesome on the Bon Scott era songs (If you want Blood, Highway to hell, Dirty Deeds, Live Wire, Sin City, Shot Down in Flames, Let There be Rock, Whole Lotta Rosie).
