Thank you, Spring here in the Southern Hemisphere and my indoor plants are all getting overhauled, and a new tricky one has got me in a panic, but it is getting to know your plants.

I salvaged 3 leaves of a Tradescantia on a stem and panic-planted it in hope of saving it. A year later, lil bugger took over my whole dining table! It does need a lot of water and will go all floppy at any change of situation, BUT it'll keep growing, it doesn't care. And if you prune it? Hang on to something because it'll push new growth so fast you might feel a breeze! XD I think She's my oldest plant, and I can't sing its praises high enough, it's a trooper.

I have a Croton! When I first bought it, I was skeptical about whether I could keep it alive, but so far it’s doing well in my home! I keep mine in a self water-wicking container so it takes up water whenever it wants and I just change the water in the reservoir after the reservoir empties. It takes the guess work out on my part and my Croton is able to keep itself happy.

Good Info! I have my croton in terracotta - but I'm going to re-pot it in something else so it retains more water. And I won't move it - maybe that will be the trick to make it happy! Thanks Rochelle, great job on the video! I have lots of indoor plants - and I def. struggle with the croton.

I have considered several of these. Glad I passed on a couple of them because I’m a new plant mom so I’m learning and trying not to kill them.

Very informative video. I’m still struggling with my elephant ear, hasn’t put out any new growth in months. If I put a fern outside in my climate it would burn to a crisp lol (desert living) but maybe I should buy one for inside just to try. Awesome tips 🙌

Croton needs a lot of light. My crotons do very well in my balcony and enjoy 3 hours of the morning sun. It does not grow well inside.

I seem to kill house plants. I’ve found it better to buy artificial plants. I know living plants are good for the environment, but living in Spain 🇪🇸 I just find it difficult. Thank you , I enjoyed your video . I might even try again. X

@ Alias I have 3, live in Vegas and all three are super happy and healthy. Just just keep an eye on them. They also start to shoot up more like a tree, think fiddle leaf fig tree, and they look awesome like that. I believe in you!

Best that you just put it outside when its summer. Croton plants loves full sunlight and it is tricky to keep them alive indoors
