Waiting on parts sure seems to be an issue this year 🤔 Glad you got a fair price for your calves and a good deal on the new cow!

Yeah, that is the theme! Hopefully they can get that straightened out. I wouldn't bring any cattle to a sale these days. You just get hosed. It's sad

Thanks Rick! Calm being the important thing:) She's a bit skittish, but that should change in time. Hopefully the pump thing goes as planned. We'll find out shortly. Take good care

Thanks for the update! Hope you’re staying high and dry there on the farm. The pictures coming through of Whatcom County are not looking good.

Things were soaked, but fortunately we're a good distance from the river. Lots of people displaced, and the damage is horrendous. Prayers are always welcome! Hope all is well for ya!

Is your pump a Bosch? Seems like a lot of the Iveco engines had problems with the pumps. I'm pretty sure they all had Bosch. Thanks for watching!

She seems like a nice docile and healthy lady. Hopefully she calves easy! My plan was to buy a bred cow. Ha ha

Right now cattle are cheap a friend of mine hauled 11 mommy cows that averaged 1300 pounds brought 500-$750 on the tractor if it’s easy like it was on my Deere ha e the injectors pop tested I had my pump rebuilt and it’s wasn’t in time it was 180° out look at both before installing for good measure lol stuff you already know with out me saying lol

Yeah, at this point you're almost crazy to take cattle to the sale barn. Smaller guys really need to be selling private party, or butchering and selling by the 1/2 or whole. I don't know much about working on these. I bought the shop manual, and the alignment tool. Hopefully if I do what they say, I'll be good. Kinda of intimidated to be honest. The instructions are kinda vague.. Ha ha
