Delmati su njegovali kulturu uživanja u jelu i piću. Za njih je kararkteristično spravljanje jela pod pekom.
I danas je živa ta tradicija u Cetinskoj krajini, pa se u njoj mogu probati razni specijaliteti pečeni na ovaj način, od mesa do kruha.
Peke su se izrađivale od gline na lončarskom kolu, kako tada tako i danas, te je ta rukotvorina zaštićena kao nematerijalno kulturno dobro Republike Hrvatske.

Today, the tradition is still alive in the region, so you can try different specialties baked in this way, from meat to bread.
The lids were made of the clay on the pottery wheel, as it is today, and this handicraft is protected as a part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Republic of the Croatia.
