This music makes me think of my dear friend Bill Spence, who sadly left us two years ago now. Bill was a wonderful multi-instrumentalist, master on the hammered dulcimer, good friend of Aly Bain, and co-founder of the Old Songs, Inc. and Old Songs Festival here. He would have been an amazing addition to these Transatlantic Sessions. Thinking of you, Bill!
