Saw this at The Dome, Brighton last night. Spine tingling. A sublime ending (apart from the greatest of housebands) to the best of shows. Thanks for posting this

@@ValerioMansueti Saw that. I've seen him at the RFH in previous years. Excellent taste. At the interval he was surrounded by middle-aged blokes (I'm slightly older) wanting selfies. I decided to pass.

@@gizza1958 I'm a massive Tommy Emmanuel fan, and have seen him in his own shows a good few times, so booked as soon as I saw he was playing. Bought along my husband and a great pal, and it was one of the best nights of our lives. I think we'll be making it a new tradition to book tickets each year now! Majestic atmosphere, such talent and no massive egos on stage- a rare find!

@@amysilcock7931 So glad you went along on the strength of Tommy's appearance and found new musicians to enjoy. I've seen Tommy a couple of times before too, at The Robin 2 if I remember correctly. There have been some great performances in past incarnations of the Transatlantic Sessions worth checking out on KZitem. I love some of the American Bluegrass artists that have performed, such as Dirk Powell, Sam Bush and Bela Fleck. There's also a young female fiddle player named Tatiana Hargreaves who hasn't played on the Transatlantic Sessions but I came across her at some point somewhere else. She has an album recorded with other talented musicians, called 'Started Out to Ramble' which she recorded at the age of 13 and which I love and play quite frequently. So many great musicians around that play their music because they truly enjoy it and often don't earn masses of many doing so as they're not mainstream.

@@gizza1958 Me too! I did browse quite a few videos of performances in advance of the show, so I knew it was going to be good, but there really is nothing like hearing and being there to actually take it in for yourself! I'm still on a high from it! I'll definitely check out the artists you mention, Dirk Powell and Sam Bush sound familiar but I'll be sure to check them all out- thank you for your recommendations, I really appreciate it! It's so nice to have someone open new music up to me, thank you! Things like this, concerts and gigs performed just for pure love of music and wanting to share that, that's what it's all about for me: to see them enjoy what they do and to be invited into that is just priceless. Mainstream music these days just isn't comparable (I sound like I'm being a miserable old sod, but for saying I'm in my late 20's, I really do prefer musicians that are lesser known, that gift the pleasure of their talent to the audience and do it for their love of it, not for the money.)

Glad to have filmed it too, Gary. As far as I'm aware, they've never produced live on stage DVD's, only the ones recorded in the 'studio' (castle or wherever it is they meet up).

I saw this at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall the previous Sunday - a wonderful array of superb talent....could have done without the Oz guitarist...he really does love himself and not sure where he fits in with the Transatlantic Connection......but yes, an outstanding concert
