Oh dear, I will be praying for the situation that is requiring your presence back home.🙏 That kind of news is always unsettling. And it's true, rates on everything have gone up. I've heard so many folks comment on this issue. But the $6 a night deal sounded great as well as the up to 7 day freebie! And yes going south at this time of year is a bit warmer. We were 22° overnight last night here in the Flathead. Berrr! Will keep you all in my thoughts prayers❤

Oh shoot. Sorry to hear about your necessary quick trip back... Hope everything works out for you guys. Just love your videos. I used to travel those country roads quite a long time back with my husband. We just loved it and just the feeling of the desert brings back such warm memories. But we especially loved it in the winter traveling from our home state of Ohio. Keep on keeping on you two. You're my favorite travelers! ❤

Might I suggest the ground may be covered in alkali rather than ash? Do you ever see or use Goldbucks while in Nevada? Mount a seat on the trailer tongue so Linda can ride there to help with trailer balance... If you bought a deuce and a half you could haul a bunch of stuff including motorcycles and just camp in the back having ditched the trailer.

Hi Rick and Linda, thank you for your video. We just made it home yesterday from our trip to Nevada. It's a beautiful state. We're looking at both the Toyota Tacoma and the Tundra to replace our aging but well loved 96 F250 diesel. God bless you both.

Dude what ever you pick make sure it's an 8 ft bed and a second fuel tank, a crew cab is good but regular cab is best for off roading in tight places. My 1976 F250 lasted me 4 decades and never gave me trouble and my son is still using it for camping.

Is it just too troublesome to go to hauling the TW inside the trailer? Seems a little work would be involved each time loading and unloading but safer than loading in a pickup bed. Don’t want to see anyone get hurt. Thanks for sharing and hope all is well back home

I pack my t-dub in my 98 ford e150 conversion van through the side doors. The captain chair anchors make great tie downs. I thought a Chevy Avalanche would be a good fit if you can load the bike up into the bed. You'd probably have to leave the tailgate down.

You said you stayed at south fork while going through elko nevada. Lamoille canyon is much nicer. They have a developed campground with half off with the senior pass. No amenities at the sites but pit toilets and potable water available plus there's a small amount of free camping along the creek by the boy scout camp. Beautiful country with glaciers. Check it out if you ever come through here again. Happy travels.

It's Friday, time for a Gonagain video. I thought it was Thursday. I'm not a trailer expert, but isn't it bad for swing to put all the weight at each end of the trailer and nothing in the center? I'm for a f350 long bed 4x4 super cab or crew cab with a 6.2 engine. I find my 5.4 liter lacking in power. I did just do a bunch of work to it though designed to improve performance as you know. Heading out for a test drive now, your video delaying me. Had to get my Rick and Linda fix first you know. Take care kids.

They may want to charge a fee for free BLM land one of these days. Sorry to hear that you need to cut the trip short hope all goes well. Loading a motorcycle into and out of a pickup could be hard on the back and more hooking and unhooking of the trailer. I love my van but it's only me living in it. If my wife was still with me I would go for a small motorhome and keep the bike on the back so I could sell the trailer. I leave for AZ in about 3 weeks. Good luck and hope all goes well.

States gouging campers now....Trying to squeeze a buck out of people at every angle....How long till there is a surcharge for clean air ???? ....The more i see the more im convinced for us anyway, Corp of Engineer campgrounds are where its at for sure...They always by a nice lake or river area, have all the amenities ya need and for cheap...Avg price $18-$40 a nite...BUT !!!!! If you have the Geezer Pass (American the Beautiful National Park Pass) those cheap prices at COE campgrounds are half off...So your avg. stay a nite is between $9-$20 a nite for all amenities ....Between COE campgrounds, Casinos, Cracker barrel, Rest Areas, and Walmarts in a pinch we travel fairly cheaply when on the road...Our biggest expense ??? The issue of drastically raised camping fees across the whole country, is not by mistake. Because of the world we live in, the operational costs of these camping areas have increased drastically. More importantly, a huge number of people, have decided they would rather drop out of the system, and minimize their expenses. KZitem is absolutely besieged with such people. The point is, the public camping structure was not designed to carry this many users, which provides a significantly lower tax revenue. Don't have to be a genius to figure out campgrounds and public lands, cannot present themselves as easy targets for the destitute and financial failures. I get by on nothing but Social Security... and I live like a king. Because I'm okay with being in the middle of nowhere by myself and keeping my own counsel. The more popularized the low-income existence, the more notable this problem will become.

When you're retired do days really matter?😂 It's got to be getting cold up in your neck of the woods. Fly south for the winter. 🐦 🐦⬛ Isn't 80% of Nevada a BLM campsite? Get a used Tundra. Mine is 24 years old and the only thing that broke in 24 years was an O2 sensor. It costs me less than $200/yr to maintain.

Put a plate of steel on the floor of the trailer back there from side to side and long enough to reach the front bolts of hitch..
