G’day Kev & Chris, love your videos & your down to earth presentation. Was wondering when are you going to post part 2 from the earlier DVD & do a video of the gas bottle fire pit. Particularly interested in the size of the door, cheers 🍻 👍🏼

Hi guys we only produced the one dvd then we started the you tube series from there , as it was much to costly to produce discs so if you would like to continue on from the dvd start at living the dream ep 1 . we were on the road for almost 3 years total but are now getting stuck into work to fund a new tow vehicle and the next few trips we can only manage shorter trips at the moment I promise i will get to doing a video on making a fire pit as it is one of our most used items but at this time working crazy hours we are struggling to just finish editing the last trip to SA cheers Kev an Chris p..s. should be a new vid up this Friday evening if work permits

Cheers thanks for the reply. I’ve watched all your videos & loved every one of them, it’s been a while since I’ve seen episode 1 (makes sense of how it ties together 👍🏼) so what is the tow vehicle going to be ? Cheers 👍🏼🍻

we upgraded??? to be able to take the quad bike with us the toyota was on its limit for weight so decided to get something bigger but we were not happy with the reliability of the F250 so it had to go our new v6 Ranger will have even more payload than the F250 ,even with us both in the car we can still carry 1020 kgs which is pretty amazing so we will still be legal weight with all our toys cheers kev and chris the Landcruiser is by far the best and most reliable vehicle we have ever owned

Hi Andy the Tohatsu is a brilliant motor you will be impressed with the power and fuel economy, just a couple things to note 1. do not overfill the engine oil even by the smallest amount as this sets off the oil alarm at about 3/4 throttle we found this from ours when picked up from the dealer when he had over filled by about 30 ml 2. you will have to re prop the motor as standard is 10 pitch and it is way to powerful of a motor, we opted for a genuine Tohatsu prop at 11.5 pitch this gives us a top speed of 45 kmph with us both sitting on the rear seat 3 Oil filters are available through Repco its the same as some Nissan vehicle cost around $10 against $44 through Tohatsu Dealer and will not affect warranty 4 Roadtec marine have a small digital Taco (zip tie to the tiller handle) which is very easy to fit and helps get the correct trim position cost around $40 and also helps with the service schedule as it is also a hour meter we are very happy with the Tohatsu and am quite certain you will be to cheers Kev andd Chris

@@travellingaustralia7319 Hi Kev . Thanks so much for the information. I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to reply. I was wondering about the oil filter being compatible with something else. Best wishes and safe travels. Regards Andrew
