Salt in the wound... landing the sledge in the sludge. Wonder if the cast motor mount thing broke too as well as the spur or pinion. Seems people are shearing teeth off of those as well and with that kind of landing/impact, would imagine more than your chassis is damaged. Would like to see you fix it up and throw a better set of tires on it, like badlands or backflip's. The sledgehammer tires are great in grass (at least the smaller maxx sized ones), but they are on the hard side (likely to extend life and lessen the likelihood of a blowout), but those characteristics make them not so great on hard pack or loose dirt. IMHO, the 20M "fluid" they put in center diffs acts almost like grease once it's warmed up and the teeth cut a path through it. I notice my e-revo 2.0 acts almost solid center at first, but as I get a pack or two through it, it changes dramatically. Been thinking of tearing it down and putting 1M in it just so it's more consistent throughout a bash.
@RazorRC
2 жыл бұрын
What happens with the partially filled 20M is that it balls up and gets flung to the quadrants away from the teeth and then basically isn’t doing anything.
@olds97lss

@@RazorRC Yeah, that's kind of what it seems to do. I'd change the stuff out in my e-revo 2.0, but I don't drive it really anymore so didn't feel like digging into it. I did change the stuff in my maxx from 20M to 300K to make it more drivable on 6S and more consistent. I'm assuming you have an e-revo 2.0, should go check all your videos as I probably watched it if you did. If you did, did you change the center diff "fluid" in it as well? If so, to what? Thanks! EDIT: Never mind, found your setup video for it from last year. Looks like you recommend 200-300K, but you didn't mention the tires. Guessing with higher grip tires you'd want a bit thicker?
