Far too many people are quick to jump on bandwagons and cancel others based on information they cannot verify for themselves. Timothy Heller only RECENTLY admitted that her rape accusations against Melanie Martinez were entirely falsified, but when her story came out people didn't hesitate to burn Melanie's albums and trash on her name when there was no way to know for sure who was telling the truth. Sadly the damage is done, and even though Mel came back stronger because of it, it shouldn't have happened in the first place. People just don't think for themselves anymore I guess.

Quality, not quantity. Instead I think we should use the term UNDER APRECIATED for famous musicians who make a good song that doesn't get that much clout instead of calling the musician underrated as a whole.

Selective activism is another one I'd like to leave behind. On stan twitter, activists got angry at other accounts bc they weren't retweeting as much BLM as the activists wanted. And then when other countries like India, Philippines, Croatia, Japan, all had some sort of major tragedy that had fallen upon them too, they didn't get half the attention they needed to spread the word. And these so-called activists never batted an eye. What's worse is that people from those countries helped spread the word on twitter, I've seen so many of them dedicate their hours trying to get people to sign petitions and help black people in spreading their gofundmes. And then when these same people asked and begged to spread word about the major issues about the government, about a calamity, about police brutality, in their home country almost no one gave a damn and these activists never schooled anyone for it. If you're going to reply please don't hate on me for it. It's just something I observed. I'm not trying to take away any sort of light on the BLM movement because it is still so so so important. But I just wish these other issues were treated with the same respect and importance because they are a minority too, they don't have the same kind of activism in their countries, they aren't allowed to speak out about it without being scared for their lives, their people don't have the same power as others do.

The best thing to do is either unsubscribe from whoever it is that’s triggering you or just scroll. Or if it’s in a video, don’t watch or fast forward the scene. You can’t expect other people to change their lives for you... especially if they sure as hec don’t know you. And if something is ‘triggering’ you that much then maybe it’s best you get some help. But that’s just my 2 cents and what I’ve learned 🤷🏼♀️

what i want to leave in my opinion: 1. get rid of the forming opinions without doing research. i’m tired of people trying to debate me on certain topics and complaining about things that aren’t even true, and most of the time their source of information is a 14 year old ariana grande stan page ✋ please do actual research instead of jumping to act like you know things and spreading information. the whole “she did this” only to do my research and see it’s false or blown out of proportion is getting really annoying and it’s making me lose all hope for this generation. 2. stop getting offended for a race you don't belong to. if someone does or says something and a certain group does not care of find it offensive, it is not ur place to be bashing or cancelling anyone when you don't even belong to that group. 3. stop bashing people for having "different" tase and don't bash them if their taste is "basic". if somebody likes ed sheeran, jb, katy perry etc then let them, it's not that deep, its just music. 4. twitter hypocrisy: they will continually preach about mental health and will cancel people and celebrities for being "rude" but are the same ones who will degrade people like ed Sheran and noah centineo for their looks and body. you don't know how many tweets that said they couldn't imagine anyone wanting to date or have sex with ed. it's disrespectful. if you've liked or made any of these comments, then you have no place to cancel anyone for being "rude." 5. stop misusing words like gaslighting, toxic, abusive, manipulative, groomer. like while there are definitely people out there like this, yall keep throwing these words around like it's nothing not even realizing how serious they are. yall heard it once from twitter and just rant with it 6. and finally, let's start normalizing improving our mental health's and lives as opposed to romantisizing mental illness and portraying it as something it is not. being depressed is now seen as cool, quirky and relatable. I've seen people who fake having certain illnesses and posting about "my depression and anxiety battling to see who---bla bla". and yes I get the whole coping mechanism thing, but it should not be seen as something you use to gain sympathy points. let's start glorifying getting help and finding happiness instead of mental disorders pls

I just find it hilarious how people think everything will just go back to normal in less than two days. Honestly, I think 2021 will be even more difficult. BUT, that doesn’t necessarily mean it has to be depressing, miserable and bad like this past year. I hate to be the one to give the cold, hard truth; but just assuming it’ll be better is just setting yourself up for heartbreak/misery. All I can say is just to try your best to stay positive AND prepared for the worst at the same time. Good luck guys! ❤️

I mostly think cancel culture is dumb. Holding someone accountable? sure. Holding someone’s mistake from 5 years ago against them and holding their feet to the fire knowing fully well you’ve done something similar in the past? give it a rest man! cancel culture feels like a way that ordinary people can feel better than said celebrity at that moment. When it could be used against literal criminal or bigoted celebs who are presently hurting/ harming people at this very moment. Cancel culture technically isn’t the issue, but how it’s used is the issue. I’m not saying that what someone said in the past can’t be alarming, but people are giving the past wayyy to much weight when it comes to a celebs mistakes but can’t apply that to themselves.

nah, i think it's more in the fact that people finally realized that not every female rapper that comes into the game HAS to be the "new best thing" and that ALL female rappers can coexist peacefully rather than always being pitted against each other 24/7. megan thee stallion has been a really strong force as of recently but has also been working with other female rappers rather than trying to distant herself, which is what i rlly respect abt her.

You did not lie, They thought they could get rid of her so easily, and it backfired. Nicki's definitely here to stay 😌 She came in the game and set the bar for female rap so high. And that's why these new girls can't help be compared to her, cuz Nicki is the standard for modern Female Rap.

Disclamer, not a rap fan, so if it didn't cross over to pop charts, I don't know about it. Now, when Cardi B started popping up, Nicki hadn't done anything interesting for a good while. She had guest verses she seemed to phone in that got tacked on to singles via greenscreen. Cardi probably got lot of collabs that would earlier gone to Nicki just because she seemed actually interested. Now that there are multiple female rappers with both skills and interest there in no need to crown a queen.

the industry can do whatever they can through other compeptitors, media, bandwagon hatred etc. the respect gained from nicki's perfect craft and integrity within the minds and hearts of a whole generation growing to her hits playing, her fans from the start, and even other celebs is unmatched. she doesn't need to be active and she still outclasses everyone.

I tell you Honest, thankfully, Jeffree's last makeup releases have been flopping super hard, in fact, the only times people are not talking shit about him is when he asks people to hashtag him to send them money. LOL we are finally over him :) Thanks for the video, hopefully, you reach 1Million subs this 2021!

What we need to get rid of is those fake scientists acting like they don’t know how to build a time machine for me to go back in the past and live out my life there. Like that’s just unclassy 💅🏽

Onika Tingz For me I don’t necessarily hate the girls or am jealous of them I feel there just too popular and it’s probably stressful to keep this image up especially Charlie but then again that just what I think

the whole blaming one's behavior because of one's zodiac sign (regardless if it's Chinese or Greek) got on my nerves this year too. Expecting people to be the same or even similar just because they have the same sign is just stupid and should just be saved for casual joking, not as an excuse for bad manners or habits or lack of consideration. Thank you for sharing this honest.

I don’t understand how people can be so insensitive to others, especially during such a vulnerable time. It shouldn’t matter what time you were born or your darn natal chart, it should be about thinking outside of yourself on the behalf of those who take this seriously, even if you don’t.
