Last year I've tried the 2020 765RS and I own a 2015 675Rx. I think the Street Triple is the best road bike ever made. I really can't find a major fault about these bikes. I agree with your review. On the 2020 765RS I struggle to understand the Rev counter graphics but it is really my only complain about the bike. The sound of the 675/765 triple is sublime. I have owned a Speed Triple 1050 and also tried the new 1200RS and none sound so good as a street triple. Only the Aprilia V4 engine edges the Street triple on aural pleasure but I also own a Tuono V4 and overall find my Triumph to be a better bike. And yes, I'm also a Triumph fanboy but they really make great motorcycles.

That’s very well said Bruno , I am in the same boat , I think the V4 and the triple , are the two engines which truly float my boat . I will be testing the 1200 speed triple soon so I can’t wait for that but pound for pound the 765 is just excellent plus on the otherside the comment you made about the Rev counter is very valid , I mentioned the same in my video too

@@brunocarmona4958 yeah there’s one theme with the 1200RS that it’s just super hard for the road and mainly suited to the track , I will get the press bike and take it to a suspension specialist and totally re vamp it for the road and I’ll then see the difference I try to be as detailed and honest as I can . Great video!! Thanks! Didn’t even notice the 30 min run time. 😝 After owning a 2020 ST-R for 13 months now (having put 16,000+ km on it) there are few flaws, as you say. If forced to list flaws I’d say: 1. The darn clutch cable runs right in front of my view of the dash; 2. I love the triple but it’s buzzy. I used to feel a very distinct buzz in the handlebars at 6,000rpm. When I shifted to bar-end mirrors (the R model has standard stalk mirrors) it seems to have shifted the harmonics of the handlebar enough to dampen most of the buzz; 3. No passing lights (at least for the R model); and 4. No self-canceling turn signals (again, for the R model). Other than that I absolutely love my ST-R for all the reasons you pointed out. 😊👍🏼

What a great review, but the R not RS was better for me. Suspension felt more compliant on less than perfect roads. Now has a quick shifter. I preferred the older needle tachometer to tft. Better (slightly) midrange. Tyres are brilliant in dry and work in damp better than RS. If you ride really hard or track it, the RS is better. I found R better for the UK roads and weather, plus you save quite a bit of money. Both are brilliant bikes. Lucky us and thank you Triumph.

Anther top informative video, I totally agree . I've test rode a few other bikes but still nothing that I would want to upgrade to and The only reason I've not changed from 675R to a new 765RS is because its missing cruse control . The speed triple has a similar switch gear buts its blanked off on the street triple where the cruse control would be .Comes in very handy on long trips and the ever increasing average speed zones checks.

loved the drone footage of the '''''dudley castle''''.nice filming, the 360 shots of you riding the bike in a time laps day to night transition is really cool . the 765 RS is in my crosshair as 2dn street ride ; i love my tuono to death (the tuono is really a racebike with high bars, not suited to daily commuting at all ) , but the triple 765 RS would make a much better ''all arounder '''' on top of being at complete ease for the occasional track day with its detuned moto 2 race engine , well sorted suspension ,and magnificent frame ;the triumph is probably the fastest naked after the tuono and the street fighter (while the SF is far from being as nimble as the triumph and tuono ). just a hint about the M50 brembos, the ferrodo Xrac are the best pads i've found for those caliper.not cheap, but endless power with only one finger . as usual ,very very well delivered-detailed review-video ,and those brief touch of history along the video makes the review even more interesting than a plain flat review .

Great review of the RS, IMO a great improvement over the 2017/19 model in the mid-range, a little tip for anyone who'd like a bit more wind protection, Triumph do a little after market screen but it's only about three inches taller than standard and for an extra tenner Powerbronze do a much better screen that really does give you some real protection from the wind. Re the RSs competitors, the MT-09 SP is a superb much improved bike that leaves you with a permanent grin while riding it ,the only slight downside is although the finish and quality is good the RS is so much better, the KTM 890R is a hoot to ride and turns the most boring rider into a hooligan but although I know looks are subjective I just couldn't stand looking at it every day, the new Monster is a great bike but let down by finish, although the new SP appears to have remedied that problem.

Hi Bj, I have actually ridden the 660 Tuono and the smaller version of Africa twin too .
