My wife doesn’t see what I like about riding shotgun with you, but she never ran the miles I did. Riding with you I can still smell the smells I remember when I used to drive. I always had the window cracked even in the winter. My favorite times were always the wee hours of the morning. The wife had a stroke back in 2013 and it was cheaper to quit work and take care of her than it to hire a sitter, so no more open road. I sure miss it. Be safe.

There is something about you. Our "Mountain Man Mike" I just relax when I'm Riding Shotgun. Your voice is so calming. You seemed a little quite tonight which made a lonely mountain road, lonelier.. You are such a safe and good driver. Hope all went well and you had a good drive to Rifle. As always I very much enjoyed my ride with you. Thanks for giving us a look at the dashboard. ✌

Thanks Mountain Man Mike helping us to avoid Vail Pass and Eisenhower Tunnel closures almost three weeks ago enroute to Vail Colorado. Watching the weather, we went from PHX to Moab, to Grand Junction and Vail. We knew something had happened when a bunch of trucks went south on 191 from I-70. A little snow in Glenwood Springs, then smooth sailing. There were trucks parked along I-70 all the way to Vail. Love your snow videos, nobody does them like you. God bless and safe trucking.
