I'm a driver of 45yrs and I agree I wish we could go back to the old days. The drivers of today are cut from a different cloth. It was nice to be able to go to a full service fuel stop, sit down and enjoy a good hearty meal and we had integrity by dressing neat and ready for work. There's no respect among drivers anymore and that's sad. Today we have the most disrespectful unsafe careless drivers I've ever seen. Not too many drivers out there take pride in themselves and the profession. There's no such thing as a professional driver anymore. They're mostly inexperienced steering wheel holders.
