An honest attempt at this. I read that B.J Wilson had used a rear view mirror for a car so he could watch the conductor of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Lawrence Leonard, during the live performance with the orchestra. B.J Wilson had impeccable timing, and his use of fills worked out well. The original version of Conquistador was on Procol Harum's debut album in 1967, sans the ochestra. I'm not sure if he plays drums on that song either. I do know that B.J Wilson is not playing drums on A Whiter Shade Of Pale, as he and (guitarist) Robin Trower came to join the band after that. B.J Wilson was also a session musician, and he is the drummer on Joe Cocker's version of With A Little Help From My Friends. Cheers! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️🥁
