Respect for maintaining the car the way the Germans built it. In my country swirl flap problem is solved by simply removing them and coding (they sure are a must to be looked at, mine got sucked in and had a meeting with a piston at around 200k). Also, having done my rear pads last weekend I could say that using VCDS is way easier and faster for the job (having an audi you must have VCDS anyway). As far as I know, brake pad lamp only lights for front pads, rears have no sensors, unless there is some software way to calculate. Mine were worn badly, no faults were on. Anyway, nice to see an Allroad taken care of properly.

24:00 AL bolts are use to avoid galvanic corrosion. Using FE bolts exposes the risk of contact corrosion eventually stripping the threads in the block, wich is normally a bad thing. Hence replacing them with non-AL bolts is gernerally speaking a not-so-good-idea. You can see this effect magnified in maritime context like mounting stainless to aluminium masts. Regarding the torque - I would not exceed the torque of the original spec as the threads in the block probably form the weaker link.

When the car thinks the brakepads are worn, there is high chance that wires going to brake pad sensors are broken. As far as i know the way those brake pad wear sensors work is by cutting electrical connection between the two wires going to the brake pad. There is wire loop inside the brake pad material which wears off when brake pads themselves wear. I hope this made sense ;)
