I liked series 2 better on rewatch than at the time. Agree that 3 was a series too many. Poor storylines and had just run its course by then. Was trying to be more like EastEnders. Series 2 was more entertaining with all the new characters and money making scams. Once other people like Tommy and Passmore dropped out should have called it a day

Thank you. Was too young to watch these when they were originally broadcast but was a big fan of Todd Carty growing up in the 90s we'd they'd repeat classic Grange Hill on Sunday mornings and him as Mark Fowler in Eastenders. This spin-off is an insightful and pretty good depiction of Thatcher's Britain in the 80s for a young man trying to get work and survive. Thanks again!

North west london sure has changed since this programme. I was in primary school when this was on, and what this show represented as london back then, was pretty realistic. Good to see all these 3 series, seeing the vile stonebridge estate was funny. At least they have taken down those high rise flats now, or at least most of them. Back when kids tv actually was pretty good tv.

The first series of TL was basically an extension of Grange Hill.the third series was like a soap opera, the second was far the best as it had an ensemble of cast with a bit more depth to them. Still great memories though and enjoyed the rewind. Todd Carty plays Tucker Jenkins in Tucker’s Luck 🍀 and previously Grange Hill is born on Saturday 31st August 1963 in the same week is late ⏰ summer bank 🏦 holiday and Michelle Herbert plays Trisha Yates previously on Grange Hill in series 1 to 5 from 1978 to 1982 and on Tucker’s Luck 🍀 is series 3, episode 9 only is born on Tuesday 11th May 1965. In 4 months time, if Todd Carty is alive on Thursday 31st August 2023, he will be aged 60 years old so happy 😁 birthday 🎂 🍰 🥳 🎉 🎉 🎊 🎊 🎈 🎈 🎁 🎁 🎁 👍 👍 👍. This is the final ever episode of Tucker’s Luck 🍀 is series 3 in 1985. I was aged 8 to 9 years old in 1985. Now my age is 47 years old. I had my birthday 🎂 🍰 🧁 🎊 🎊 🎉 🎈🎈🎈🎈 in the previous month is 9th March 2023. I was born on a Tuesday. Tucker Jenkins has an argument with the lady. Trisha Yates has had her hair altered. She looks different in the episode comparing to 7 previous years ago happened in 1978. Tucker Jenkins loses his patience with these enemies. The 2 people pour petrol ⛽️ over the Ford Capri car 🚙. Tucker Jenkins looks serious 🧐 on his face. He fights back the enemies. Serves them right. That’s what happens next. The 2 men 👨 👨 are in pain. Again serves them right. Tucker Jenkins approaches Alan Humphries in the gym. Alan Humphries is doing weightlifting 🏋️♀️. The man 👨 talks to Tucker Jenkins and says to him “You’re wasting your time” 🕠. In this series is a 3 door 🚪🚪🚪 hatchback 🚗 Vauxhall Cavalier Mark 1. Not many on the roads in 2023 unless perhaps 🤔 they could be in central England 🏴. Well I must say this is the last ever episode of Tucker’s Luck 🍀 in 1985. Perhaps 🤔 it should be series 4 screened in 1986. 😀 👍 👊 ❤️ 🧡 💜 💙 💚

Series three was my least favourite of the three series of Tucker's Luck... but having just watched it again for the first time in decades, I found it to be better than I remembered. More could have been made of Alan going to the gym - and I could tell you an interesting story about that storyline... but I'd better not! Good... But series one and two were better.
