This is easily one of the most classic beats in all of Hip Hop. Per a previous comment, Cam'ron later sampled it for his song "Live My life." Also, its so interesting to see someone reacting to Tupac from a fresh perspective of someone who wasn't a fan when he was alive because you get to hear all these bravado lyrics while knowing that, in the end, it was all for naught; the rest of us had no idea what his fate would be at the time.

Late 90s, in croatia, I bought this album on tape and sat in my cousins car when I popped it in. I wont deny it, I'm a straight rida, you don't wanna fuck with meee. Unforgettable. I had listened to DMX before that but that moment still feels like the start of my hardcore rap journey.

If you listen, he is also talking about Biggie and others turning their backs on him after he got shot. "Thats why they tried to set me up, had bitch ass ni**as on my team, so indeed, they 'wet' me up!" But hey, another great song to react to. The world lost 2 greats with Pac and Biggie. I think rap would be totally different if they were still around... Good job Boomer!

@@ABoomerReacts I agree! Hip Hop has so many different styles nowadays. 90's and early 2000's are my favorite times in rap. And hey, I heard in one of your video that you like that whistle type sound they use in earlier songs like Dr Dre's 'Let Me Ride'. Thats one of my favorite sounds artists used back then. Dre, Bone, NWA, etc, all used it in some way! Theres a track on the 'Menace II Society' soundtrack that uses that sound in the beginning of the movie which still gives me goosebumbs! :)

Ion react to Westcoast songs that much bc I didn't really pay it no mind unless it hit the Radio (Which was hardly ever lol). But this song here I remember my 1 homie out of 10 of us was in his room chilln n he brought All Eyes On Me(bootleg Ofc) and this was the 1st song. At that moment was the 1stime we realized it was a real beef and this Tupac guy was gonna b a problem. U gotta understand. Prior to this He did Hit um Up but it was a cool Biggie diss. He dissed Mobb Deep too but that was bc L.A L.A came out it was expected. But this song sounded like he declared War on us. Not jus Bad Boy. No more Keep Your Head Up, Brenda Got A Baby. He think he a gangsta now this gonna get ugly if Biggie was wanted peace or not. It's too late...unfortunately it was the worse turnout possible 😫. But yeah this intro track was SOO Westcoast we knew Tupac wasn't coming back..in our minds atleast

@@ABoomerReactsyeah Boom ion think u heard me clearly so I be more Direct. We didn't care about ANY Westcoast rapper on the Eastcoast in the 90s. We felt they was beneath us. Snoop was all we really knew besides a 1 hit wonder or 2. Ice Cube n Ice T was Actors n Dre didn't write his raps(Big No-No in NYC) and Tupac was from New York he jus moved over there to us. He was in a New York jail n got shot here n all. Now, that said. NOBODY is running to Buy a Tupac album where I'm from...Until Hit Um Up. THEN, we wanted to hear what he had to say. So to us the order was Hit Um Up n May early may and All Eyes On Me at my homie Barberque Memorial day weekend. So MY chronological order was right 😆 🤣
