Great to hear Carlos! My goal isn't to create ukulele players, but rather musicians that play ukulele. Thank for for coming along on this journey with me friend.

Your videos are so informative! Thanks for sharing! My daughter and I have enjoyed learning to play the ukulele. We even try to write some songs to chords. This video helps me understand why certain chords go well with each other. Why is the I V vi IV progression so popular? Thanks!

Cheers Aaron, if you like blues we are starting our next blues challenge next Thursday with a chance to win a uke just by playing the blues with us! I’m glad you said this because I forgot to address this in the video. This only works with 7 note scale. It won’t work with the pentatonic as the pentatonic is a 5 note scale. It is created by removing 2 dissonant notes leaving 5 notes that are great for improvisation because they work on every chord. The blues scale is really just a pentatonic scale with an added passing note, so it wouldn’t work either. I did a video on why the blues harmony is so cool for guitar, I should do one on uke, too. Cheers friend and keep shredding!

At least in Spanish it’s si. I have played in a couple bands in Colombia and the Spanglish gets confusing because Si and C sound the same so we have to clarify “si en castellano o C como en inglés?” Edit: Si in Spanish, we found examples of ti too

@@mapleleafmusic it might be in Latin, or Portuguese, I’m not sure, that is just in Spanish.

@@mapleleafmusic i just googled it and some languages definitely use Ti instead of Si.
