@@rayleeharris not the radio edit, tho. But yeah, I was thinking about that song as he made the sample smaller and smaller. They use the a kickdrum sample for their main bass synth

I dont think they used it while making the song, they def used the op-1 in video prolly for esthetics but yes they did do this technique first thing that came to my head

@ovrnightswrld I'm sure they did hence the name of the song "One."

Bruh I've been using Ableton's simpler for ages now and somehow I'm only just now finding out about the root key function. I've been manually pitching up all my samples to C before putting them into simpler like a fool. Thank you for this information.

What do you do to remove the "helicopter" sound because the loop starting over and over? I'm learning and I don't really know how to proceed to make the sound smoother
@joenathanweber
Жыл бұрын
Make the loop shorter, you can see in the video it starts getting that sound as it shortens but then eventually turns into a single sound as it gets shorter

@@Xero5273 no problem! There are definitely a lot of different things to learn. I would say experiment and try to constantly learn new things. Always remember to have fun and don’t be discouraged if you can’t make what you want or you don’t feel motivated. It takes a lot of time to learn so just keep going and you’ll keep getting better and better. There are always new things to learn lol
