Banana Bread Recipe:
Mike’s Famous Nanner Bread 🍌
* 1/2 cup butter, melted
* 1 cup white sugar (or 1/2 cup white + 1/2 cup brown)
* 2 eggs
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 cup sour cream
* 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans.
* 3 medium bananas, sliced
* 1/2 teaspoon all spice
* 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
* 2 teaspoons cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together all the dry ingredients (spices, sugars, and flour. In the kitchen aid mixing bowl, add all the wet ingredients (bananas, melted butter, eggs, sour cream and vanilla). Mix well before slowly combining the dry ingredients mixture. Continue to mix until smooth. Once smooth, add nuts or other additional ingredients like chocolate chips. Finally, spread evenly into the prepared pan and bake.
3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool loaf in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
