Turtle wax looked more hydrophobic during the Carpro reset washes, and I’ve found while it doesn’t last absolutely ages, it’s one of the best looking spray sealants I’ve used. The thickness also acts a bit like a glaze, so if you’ve got scratches you’re scared to keep working on, this helps hide them. But I don’t buy it anymore simply because of the price.

Thanks for the very thorough testing. You can’t use the Koch Chemie on a wet car, so you’re less likely to top it up. I find Flex Wax is much more practical. After the initial dry application, you can use it as a drying aid or a spray on/rinse off wax every now and then, and it revives itself. The ease of maintenance of Flex Wax will provide better protection over time.

I have used many Turtle Wax products over the years and the fact that you can hardly use any of this product on the panel otherwise it sucks is bad right off the bat. You will mar and tear up your paint trying to get it buffed off if you put just one spray too much. Matter of fact I did not even like it with hardly any product on the panel. I did wait longer then 24 hours as I stated in the video. Sorry It’s just not that great man. Bottom line. There are other products that are in the same price range that are better in my opinion. I am interested in that Optimum Hyper Seal. I have been on the fence about buying that one but I know years ago I really liked Opti-Seal as a quick sealant after a wash. Not long lasting but the ease of use was fantastic and it had acceptable performance. Opti-Seal really was an innovative product when it was first released. There had never been a spray sealant that worked like that up to that point, probably 20 to 25 years ago. I'd be interested to see how that Hyper Seal does compared to Opti-Seal. Namely, is it essentially a repackaged Opti-Seal with a few more drops of whatever made Opti-Seal work, probably some type of polymer sealant rather than Si02 but who knows? They say they put more of what makes Opti-Seal work into it? Who knows. Marketing can make a product seem like it's the best out there when actually it's the exact same product in a new bottle with a new name, rebranded as "new and improved".

Thank you for your work..respectfully, do you think it's fair that you're comparing a "wax" versus a "sealant"? Even before watching the video I knew the Koch Chemie would win because it's a sealant. It's synonymous with comparing a true ceramic coating like Avalon King/ Gyeon Mohs versus a paint sealant like Jescar Power lock/Chemical Guys Jet Seal...the ceramic coating will always beat a sealant..

I just ran out of Turtle Wax Seal n Shine, and I am so ready moving on to the next option. How does Koch SO02 compare to 303? I am struggleing picking between them. Thanks.

The Koch is a great product. I like it a lot. You should give it a try.

303 is very inconsistent …ScottHD made a lot of long term durability tests and it lasted like one month avg…I think KC is an better option

Great job Jeremy! Have you ever tried clutch from shine supply? It’s a great product as well! I can’t tell you ahead of time apply only 1 or two sprays max onto an applicator per 2 by 2 foot section. Let it sit up a bit then wipe with a damp towel first then a dry one. It’s a super shiny sealant that has resins in it. This an kcx so02 are my two favorite sealants currently
