TUTORIAL For Keeping Any Plant FLOURISHING in the SAME POT FOR YEARS
Okay, here is a Practical demonstration video for you all who are still thinking to root pruning their permanent plants but are afraid of How to do it properly? Root Pruning is best done in the late winter or early spring season (February-March) Don't perform it in the peak summer months otherwise your plant could die immediately.
Also, while trimming the roots you should always work away from the main trunk of the plant. After trimming the roots it is advisable to add 1 to 2 teaspoons of fungicide powder to the soil or instead you can also use turmeric powder in place of fungicide.
Cutting off long branches as shown in the video is completely optional, but a little bit of trimming would help the plant to produce more side branches and that will aid in the production of more flowers on the plant.
The plant shown in the video is Juhi Jasmine (Jasminum Auriculatum) Every year in the spring season (February) I specially perform such tasks to make my plant thrive in the same container for a long period of time.
The videos I make take days and several hours of editing work. If you liked my work then please show your love by liking my videos and subscribing to my KZitem channel as It keeps me motivated to work more on such videos.
