You and I are very similar in our attitude about life, positive discourse, AND not getting a ton of views on our channels because we don't leverage that fear angle. We don't share the same religious beliefs, but that's 100% okay. Differences are what makes life more interesting and rich. I wish there were more people like us in the world. I just left a comment last night on another channel about this topic. The other channel preaches that the world is a horrible place and everything is terrible. In every video. That's not a prepping channel, that's a fearmongering channel. A prepping channel gives useful information about how to prep and reminders of why it's important to prep. This other guy always pretends to know what's going to happen. It's annoying at best and irresponsible at worst. Putting out negative, depressing "predictions" is not helpful. I subbed to him for a while until I couldn't take it anymore. It wasn't worth it. Now I just get his vids in recommendations. I appreciate your viewpoint and the positivity.

The info on youtube you are giving is important. The one thing you are leaving out (as someone who is trying to get started on YT) is the sacrifice you take of time and energy in creating all the content, basically for no cost for those first year... and nothing more than a prayer that YT will help you find an audience. I think the big worry now is YT is not pushing content like yours on newer channels. I think it's like real estate, you got in on the right time, you have a good following and dedicated audience because of your content. So glad you are taking this stance on not pushing the fear... keep it up!
@CountryLivingExperience

I appreciate that. YT has been a challenge at times (with evolving amorphous policies) but it has also been a blessing in many ways. You have to have a passion for doing it like anything else. There will always be those that they push to the forefront because of their "entertainment value" and there is nothing we can do about that. The pie is big however, and there is a place for you and I. I just feel sad for those who are only looking for the fear and excitement.

We stopped watching the News many years ago. We don’t need to know about this crazy world. I tend to read my Bible and pray a LOT. I’m 58 now and when I was 43, I had to retire early on a medical. My income dropped by 90%. My wife is the main breadwinner. I do all the gardening, some cleaning of the house and make sure our vehicles are maintained properly. I’m very active in our church and community. As a retired Mental Health Therapist I will give counseling services to those who cannot afford it. Since becoming disabled I have also gone through more education and am an ordained minister. Through my ordination, I can now go into schools, prisons and hospitals. The last few years the Lord has been stirring my heart into a ministry of hard ground in working with men who are trapped in sexual sin. Time will tell how many men will turn from their sexual sin and be brought into wholeness before God and their marriages.

Your story brought happy tears to me eyes! Goes to show that You are not dis-abled!! You are more than able to do Great work for Your good & His glory!!! Only through that 'health' diagnosis could You be free to do what really needs done!! Crying! What a miraculous opportunity You have been given to do a life saving work!! HALLELUJAH! Where, if You were still 'able' to work You old job, You may never have come to all the good You do now!! Praying for You & Yours to stay on the narrow way & continue to see the good He has for You!! May He continue to enrich Your lives & prosper You in all You do!! LORD also make many men whole by this man's work & words by Your Holy Spirit!! We ask in the strong name of Jesus, LORD make it so!!

@@PinkLady54 Thank you for your kind words. The first few years of my disability were the worst. The Lord took my vision and I went blind. During my 7 years of blindness, I also went through liver and kidney failure. I spent 4 months at USC and 2 years of dialysis. Those 7 years were the hardest years of my life, BUT, through all my troubles, my Lord Jesus Christ was with me. He crushed me, yet He did not destroy me. I learned who my God is. I learned that He walks beside me and carries me when I cannot stand nor walk on my own accord. He taught me patience and how to pray. I would never wish those 7 years on anyone, but I am So Thankful and Grateful that He allowed me to go through it. I was never transplanted and though I still have liver and kidney disease, my health has returned to normal. He also gave me my vision back to me. I became disabled in 08 and had No income until SSI finally kicked in in 2011. For 3 years the Lord fed me, my mortgage was met every month. My utilities were paid. I was like a child, totally dependent upon my Lord. I owe Him my very life.

@@Doc1855 OH MY! I thought I was crying before!!! Now I'm bawling like a baby! What an incredible testimony!! I have never heard of such a dramatic & complete healing these days. Much like many ppl who have been fully broken, I have never heard one say they wish it never happened. Thank You SO for sharing some of Your journey with me. @@PinkLady54 Never doubt in the Darkness what the Lord has shown you in the Light ! I became a Christian in 06. I had my first brain surgery in 07. I went blind in 08 and had to give up my chosen career. I loved my job and literally looked forward to going to work everyday, (except during the Full Moon). I had worked up from a Technician and after college I was promoted to an IC2. Over the years I was promoted to an IC3, which was the highest level short of going back to college and receiving my PhD, which I had no intention of doing. However the Lord had different plans for my life. I have spoken with our Senior Pastor about this ministry which I’m being led into. This ministry is Not just for the denomination that I’m affiliated with, rather there are men who are bound in all denominations and even those who are unchurched. Thankfully my Pastor is one the same page and agrees with me. He will allow me to facilitate the ministry in our church. The motto of our church is to Risk, Reach and Release. Risk our comfort zone, Reach our Community and Release the people to bring others into the Kingdom. One of the Guild-lines in which the Lord has placed before me is the I need someone to come along side me and do this ministry together. For 3 years I’ve been praying for another man who has this calling upon his life to come along side of me. There are other guild- lines in which the Lord has placed before me. Our Pastor is also in agreement with me. I’ve shared my thoughts, concerns and plans with him. He fasts 2 days per week and one day per week is committed towards this ministry. He has now told other pastors in our church about the ministry before me. They too are onboard. I Co-lead another Men’s ministry in our church and the men are aware. Our church has about 3500 members and getting larger. 500 people gave their lives to Christ last year and were baptized. We’re having 2 services on Sunday morning and are at full capacity, both services. Mike (our senior Pastor) has told me that he won’t go to a Saturday night and 2 Sunday morning services. Mike has been trying to get some of our congregation to go into other churches. I told Mike that people will go where they’re getting fed. Mike use to have a 12K member church in Southern California before coming here to Wenatchee, Washington. Mike knows that I have a prophetic gift and that I’ll fast and pray for him and our community. Often times when he needs a prayer warrior, he’ll reach out to me. I love and respect Mike and his family very much. Likewise, when I need prayer for a specific reason, I know that I can ask him. I’m the Men’s counselor for Redemption Recovery (which is facilitated by our church). I’m cautious about who I allow myself to be friends with, as close friends are needed and have the same likemindedness. All of my closest friendships are with other men who have overcome their previous sexual imprisonments. They too have been praying with regards to the ministry that has been placed upon my heart. I had lunch with Mike last week and asked him why the Lord wasn’t bringing another man to do this ministry with me. Mike simply told me that it wasn’t God’s timing yet, which I do believe. Sometimes, like everyone else, I just needed encouragement. 3 years ago a 17 year old came to me seeking help with same sex attraction. I told him that I could not talk with him because he was a minor, but I did get his dad’s permission. It was during the pandemic and there were no places to meet, so I went to Mike with it. They gave me a room to counsel him, but because he was a minor, the door had to be open. It’s been three years and now that young man no longer desires to engage in sexual activity with other men. He no longer watches any pornography. He still masturbates from time to time, but that is becoming less common for him. Though he’s now only 20 years old, he only has two more years left for his Masters Degree in Business. He went through the Running Start program while in high school and had his AA degree when he graduated high school. I’m Grateful that he gave me the opportunity to help him overcome his same sex attraction and I’m more Grateful that the Lord chose me for such a time in his life. I’ve had the nickname of Doc for many many years. Even some of my family members refer to me as Doc. My first name is David, but you can call me whatever you choose to do. Enjoy your day Ma’am and Be Blessed !

I think that the people who have felt the need to announce that they're unsubscribing to your channel are funny. Like...who cares? It's that mentality you mentioned of getting high. You don't know that person. They don't affect your life if they unsubscribe. I'm not a religious person by any measure - quite the opposite to be frank. I can still enjoy your content even when you mention biblical principles. It's part of being a functioning adult. You provide helpful information through your own lens. I don't need a fearmongering channel. I know we're screwed. It's as plain as day. What I do need is the information you provide.

After over 10 years of studying the Bible, I've read it over a dozen times. There's a huge difference between the Tanakh (old testament) and the second writings of the Bible (new testament). In the Hebrew scriptures there's no mention of hell being a fiery furnace of eternal death and teeth gnashing. So which one to believe? Some say they blend perfectly. No they don't. Unless of course you read the Tanakh with preconceived notions..... come at it like that (looking for everything that supports your ideas and what you've been told while ingnoring the rest). If you want the "TRUTH", read it honestly and question everything. The truth will be staring you right in the face. Unfortunately, most people can't handle the truth. They would rather live in a false world and trust in circular reasoning and false narratives. The truth changes everything AND, it frees you from all the lies of man-made religion that bind the soul. It frees you from fear and leaves you in awe of the most incredible Creator Almighty, יהוה. Praise Yah for his loving commitment is everlasting! A lovingly committed father would never think of burning his creation/children in fire for not listening to him. He expects us to use the brains he gave us to use and trust in him... and no other. This world doesn't need more "believers of blind faith", this world needs to start listening to the words that came directly from the Creator Almighty's mouth into the ears of the people. ❤ If anyone supports and spreads the fiery furnace of hell (Greek mythology) narrative, they ARE fear mongering. It's just that simple. Yah told Cain, if you do good, won't it be well with you, and if not then sin crouches at the door. Do good. Listen to his words and walk away from Babylon (man-made religion). Focus on your relationship with your Creator and being grateful for the gift of life you've been given. Blessings to all who read this with an open heart and mind. And for all you fire breathing Christians, y'all are living in your own fearful existence and don't even know it. I choose freedom. Have a blessed day!❤
