On top of everything else, Wade is a real stand up dude, friendly with his customers and supportive of his fellow small press game publishers

You need both books for Fragged Empire 2. Wade split the game into two books when 1e was one book.

If they're not paying you that sponsoship money, they need to get on that because this was the best attention grabber for an RPG product I've ever experienced.... It was quite literally "What's in the box.... WHAT'S IN THE BOX?!?!"

@@templar51 Hey, more like complaining about it still not being out, but I sometimes have positive things to say about Son of Oak too lol. Always good to see the RPG community interweaving through good content ;)

Qotv: Esper Genesis. It's mechanics are based on the system that shall not be named but is from Alligator Alley. Sci-fi setting with factions and interesting history/backdrop. I added the xenomorphs from Alien series with some history to support and went from there. I didn't support the Kickstarter because I wasn't sure about it, saw the book in a store and after a look though bought it. No regrets and lots of fun with my group.

Well, it's from that genre you're not so fond of, but Iron Kingdoms RPG. I honestly wasn't expecting a minimal RPG conversion of a steampunk fantasy miniatures tabletop game to give me as much amusement as it did. It's not without its flaws, but I enjoyed my time with it more than I initially would have expected.

The RPG setting of Iron Kingdoms came before Warmachine.

@@FMD-FullMetalDragon True, I was refering specifically to the mechanics that were done for the non-D20 version that followed MKII.

They game that surprised me was Legend of the Five Rings. I am not that big into Asian specific settings, but I found it very fun and interesting to play. I ended adding it to my top 3 games to want to run.

I was wondering if Wade ever hooked you up when he was asking around for reviewers back in January. He makes some beautiful books. Looking forward to your take on the rules.

QotV: Hmmm... a game that I've been playing for some time and is still fun to this day? Despite its flaws, I'd have to go with Marvel Superheroes. Like our illustrious channel host I am a fiend for the superhero genre, and while I think MSH has major problems with character creation there is no other game in which the gameplay captures the spirit of the superhero genre so well.

Great game, especially at conventions with an enthusiastic GM. Haven't hit a dud yet playing in them.
