Hi Zach, thanks for this shoe guide! Wondering if you could do a video about bunions as a foot condition? Would be great to get a run down on the different types, what players with different types of bunions should be looking for in a tennis shoe (or other sports), features to look for in an off-court shoe, things to be aware of when playing in/choosing a shoe, bunion care pre- and post- match, kinds of orthotics for playing with bunions, and any other helpful players tips. Maybe not all has to be covered in a single video, but would be appreciated to get your take on at least some of these issues around this often left out topic. Thanks!! 6:59

Zach.... Need help! Can you recommend a good STABILITY court shoe with a wider toe box and a heel drop between 4-6mm? I wear Topo Athletic Ultrafly's for running (can wear these on the court as well when needed)...so looking for something similar for the court. Having a lot of difficulty with this search. Really need the stability for overpronation and really enjoy the width in the toe and that sweet spot heel drop. Thank you for the help!!

I really appreciate the inclusion of the "narrow heel" section. It would be great if you could include that section in your basketball guide. However, as someone with very narrow heels (and semi-wide forefoot), I like a wrap around slipper (bootie) construction to lock me into a shoe rather than lots of Achilles padding. I find that the extra padding can pinch and irritate the Achilles, whereas the slipper construction molds to my foot better. The K-Swiss Hypercourt Supreme is the best I've found for me. When it comes time for a new pair, I'll be looking hard at the Diadora Blueshield Fly as well. What other shoes feature that construction?

My 15 year old daughter plays on average 8-10 hours a week, going through Wilson Rush Pro 4.0 every 6-8 weeks. She is developing a good size hole on upper inside (all the way through) of left shoe from pronation and sliding (not the bottom of shoe, only the upper part). She loves the shoe fit but is there something else out there she should be wearing?? She has wider feet and wears a 10.5 comfortably in the Wilsons. (Hard courts only)

What would you recommend for playing 80% on hard and 20% on clay? I know there are a ton of shoes on this list and it's hard to keep track of all the cross-referencing for all of them, but there are a couple of pics here that I'm a little puzzled by that maybe you can clarify for me, Zach. Why is it that the Adidas Barricade 2023 which is your pick for best Pickleball shoe and All Court shoe is also not then also not at least even on the list on the list for best double shoe? It would seem to fit all the criteria - as stated in your own words. Same question with Serve and Volley shoes. I know you raved about this shoe in your most recent reviews, but it does not show up in some very obvious places IMO.

The hell he doesn't. I play pickleball, possibly tennis in the future, have low arches, narrow feet, and I had no idea which one to optimize for. Now that I've tried these shoes on, I've found out things like the Barricades are slide shoes and the clay court shoes are not, kind of a big deal if I play BOTH pickleball and tennis with flat narrow feet + possible heel slippage. A list of#1 picks in about 30 cat's is exactly what I needed. I thought this was excellent, I just tried some Adidas Gamecourt and they fit like a glove, I'll now be getting the barricades since I know Adidas fit my feet and they're the #1 pick for pickleball and also for all court tennis so I'll be able to use the same pair to transition and so it's kinda a big deal when I've found barricades for about $60 for black Friday. Kinda sounds like this video did exactly what was intended, ie help a viewer. And I'm now a successful day trader so I'll soon be able to drop a donation on this guy. Appreciate it, Doc! 🙂

How can the lacoste shoe be included in all three categories of arches and in the regular and narrow fit categories ? The negatives are that it wears down quickly , along with constant tripping over the self . This has been seen on multiple occationsis and reported by Medvedev .
@FootDoctorZach
11 ай бұрын
I think I make it pretty clear in my review about the foam set-up why its good for so many people - for fit shoes can be good for multiple widths depending on lace lines , materials, etc.
@derekpappas1556
11 ай бұрын
@@FootDoctorZach I will review your discussion on the lacoste shoe again . Yet , the explanation that you are giving me , may only be understandable if the insole and midsole worked in tandem . As all should in order to achieve the discussed result . The foams densities must be maluable and dense enough or aerated enough , as to function for that capacity and those surface game style . Is this what you are suggesting ? Apparently ! The rest would be based on the suface materials maluabiliy and cut . As well as the personal ajustment of the lacing with the provided loops . Perhaps your statements were discussed on the shoes singular review and not conveyed in this current listing ? Update : I have reviewed both videos again and can see that your current commentary comes in part from your previous product review . and yet to have a shoe that would be functional for all 3 arches along with regular and thin width feet , you should have ball of foot comfort for forefoot running , within a serve volley speed game . Should this not be possible with a shoe that can work within the variables of the various arch supports and widths ? Is this not correctable with a ball of foot cushion along with the possible alloted space provided by the uppers maluability and breathability ?
