INGREDIENTS AND PROCESS
take rice
1) Ambemohar rice - 250 gms and soak in water for 10 minutes before cooking.
2) wash chicken and keep aside
heat a pot and add
3) oil - 1/3 cup
4) black peppercorns - 1/2 tea spoon
5) bay leafs - 2 to 3 bay leafs
6) mace flower - 1 mace flower
and give a stir for a nice aroma.
now add chicken in to pot and fry chicken for 2 - 3 minutes on medium heat.
now add
7) ginger garlic paste - 2 tea spoon
8) green chilies - 2 -3 chilies
and fry all together for a while, now add
9) curd - 1/4 cup
10) coriander powder - 2 tea spoon
11) black pepper - 1/2 tea spoon
12) cumin powder - 1/2 tea spoon
13) coconut milk powder - 2 tea spoon (optional)
14) salt - 1 tea spoon
mix all together and now add
15) fried onion - 1/4 cup
16) mint leaves - some
and fry all together for a minute, now add
17) water - some
cover and cook for 10 - 15 minutes
after 15 minutes remove the cover and fry chicken for 2 - 3 minutes on medium heat
now add water soaked rice in to pot and mix it well.
now add water measuring bowl in which rice is soaked X 1.2 bowl.
mix all together and add some salt if required.
now cook rice till water get reduced.
now add some
fried onion
mint leaves
green chili and
cover and cook pulao for 10 minutes on low flame.
after 10 minutes pulao is ready to be served.
