On todays silver prices that’s a fair deal,they aren’t scrap so definitely got some collectible value on top of the silver value.Keep adding to the collection 👏🏻👏🏻

The 1935 George V Crown is a wonderful Art Deco design, and I also wanted one, but I wanted an unused coin, so I got a 1929 Wreath design crown from the Great Depression. I think they are both beautiful designs.

Very nice coins…not just scrap weight there. Some are in very decent collectible condition. Silver price is on the up as well!

Nice, but you mentioned British EMPIRE coins in the description - I was expecting issues from British India, Colonial Australia etc……… 🙂

Wow, you got an unbelieveable deal on that 1937 coronation crown!! But it's in such good condition (and so hard to get here in California) that it was painful to see & hear you clanking it together violently with the other coins toward the end of the video.

It does seem a bit of a shame to think that all those collectible coins will be melted down for their scrap value
@BitsAndBobsCoins
Ай бұрын
I won't be melting them but this is a sad truth for many coins

Yes - but if the coin is so worn that the original intent of the sculptor is basically defaced, then I would almost prefer to see it melted down and the silver re-used for new coins, to allow new generations of sculptors to also participate and carry on the art form.

50% silver is a bad buy for a stack . You can't get the equivalent of melt price for it. As it costs to much to refine the base metals out.

I do like the Rocking Horse crown, although my favourite George V crown is the Wreath design. Clickbait title? As others here, I was expecting overseas coins and designs. Is this a video you would consider for the future?
