Thanks for letting us know! I just ordered one of these. I just finished my first kit build (a reweld/semi-auto conversion of a PPS43, registered as an SBR, in 9mm) and it was a LOT of work but a great learning experience. I've put about 350 rounds through it so far - with a few failures and tweaks needed to fix them. I have a CETME C308 parts kit as well as most of the parts for an AK but it will be a while before I get to either of those.

@@The_Casual_Collector what I’ve learnt from collecting ww2 kit is the price only goes up on items, when you first an item it’s expensive then wait a couple of years and the price has only gone massively up.

@eltelboy8492 exactly, and thats why when I see a new kit come into the US, I almost always buy one at least.

I built one of these kits. I used the trigger group that came with the kit. I made it semiautomatic. Yes you need a slot in the bolt.

@@navyvet7665 cool, thanks for that, I wasn't 100% it that applied to these like the HK G3s.

Building my second CETME C kit now. Waiting for my barrel, flat and rear sight to show up next week. I bought one the cheap kits APEX had. Have my kit ready to go. I made my own jig for the first flat and worked fine. Not hard to build these kits at all.

@bigfootlivz very cool, that's awesome! So here's my question, do you not have to check bolt gap and headspace? I've been see a lot of divided answers on this.

One thing that I have done(don’t have any cetme parts) is when I bought a ptr91, I bought a trigger pack that has a trigger job preformed on it. It was completed, so I swapped and have an extra semi auto trigger pack. I would be curious to see if it fits right on a cetme build.

@infamousjustice7083 interesting, I believe you can swap the entire trigger group, but research it first for sure. Plenty of forums out there discussing it.

@Comike27 that's a good question, I wonder if @CenterfireSystemsKY would know the answer.
