Hello tools , probably a stupid question but what makes the knife left handed . also the postage to Europe is out of hand , we used to mail to the Czech Republic all the time but with the rates having tripled since the 90's that has ended , I also us Rocky Mountain great people . I am not familiar with that style of blade at all . Happy Trails and thanks for sharing .

A kid opening his Christmas present, LOL. I know the feeling every time I get a delivery from Weaver Leather Supply. Great prices and the #2 grade double shoulder leather is 'B' grade. Seriously, the only leather I will buy on-line, sight unseen is Weaver. Not perfect, its #2 grade, but way better than what I expected, nothing like the poor quality from other suppliers. The flesh side is super smooth, the minor imperfections are just that, minor. What is left is near perfection, like 80% of the shoulder is usable for belts. Orders over $100 are free shipping in the USA btw. They use two different tanneries, Hermann Oak from the USA and Chahin in Mexico. Their customer service is excellent as well.

District Leather Supply has some great leather options if you're trying to expand your horizons. I have never bought anything more than 8x18" though, so take my review with a grain of salt.

nice, those charter made knives are gorgeous, but sadly, me being a hobbyist way out of my price range (currently saving up for some crimson hides stitching irons to replace my craft japan ones)... it is really too bad that good tools are so hard to get here in germany.

How long was the belt? I've been looking at that thread since it arrived on the site. Can wait to see what you think about it.

Nice knife. After looking at someone making leather knife last night on KZitem I looked in the garage. I found an old Miller's Falls Co metal saw bade. It says high speed molybdenum on it. Want to make leather knives from it.
