Thanks for a nice down to earth unboxing video, although the handheld camera caused some frustration :) I am in the position you were, i.e. buying one seems a huge investment for a homebrewer. Therefore I would really like to know if you consider it a good investment after using it for a while?

For me I would say yes it’s been a good investment, it’s allowed me to do brewdays closer together without needing to get a second fermentation fridge. It also really does help maintaining lager temps and with the cold crash. Another option is to buy a second hand beer line cooler and modify it, I looked into doing that but I kept getting out bid.

@@PatsBrewery Thanks Pat, exactly my reasoning, what a relief to know I am not the only one searching the corners of my wallet for a really good thing 😊 I am now torn, considering going for the 3/8 HP since it is "only" 250 GBP more expensive than the 1/5 HP version. At least I will own one top of the line product 😁 Again, thanks for perfect soft intel.

Thanks, In the short time I’ve had it it’s proven it’s worth although probably the most expensive single bit of kit I’ll ever buy. Cheers 🍻

Hello, congratulations on the video, very interesting, I would like to buy a unit of this chiller but I would like to know if it reaches a temperature of -6 degrees Celsius, my use will be different from yours, it is just to cool my beer tower at freezing point and I know that I need to have a chiller that reaches a temperature of -6 degrees Celsius, thank you in advance.

Hi, i normally set mine to -3c which it gets year round I have had a look and been able to set and get the temp to -6c but I’m not sure about in the summer it should still be able to get -6 but will cost more energy.
